Yes a lot of Greeks thinking to immigrate within the EU,my nephew already done it 6 years ago,and my son thinks ( although has a well paid job) if redundant why not EU job.-The problem we've got here is ,that we have got one million non EU illegal immigrants.
1) Legal or ilegal have the right to stay, unless the law of the land say, all ilegals going to be expelled. 2) why to be suspicious, just because their culture is different to mine,or because they do differently than the rest of us do? If they observe the laws of the land, what right have i got to be suspicious of them??. 3) Political asylum seekers must be welcome,as well real economic immigrants ( the ones there is no economic hope and starving in their own countries). 4) a small percentage first generation assimilates completely, the completion starts from the second generation. And finaly senting money home, why the resentment??.- Maybe they have obligations back home (mothers, sisters, etc),or one day their dream is to live in the country where they come from.As about businesses, bought, squeezed, dry and then dumped, there are authorities, with rules and regulations to catch the offenders.
Why not, maybe she knowes how to cook Med, food, or are you thinking of the cost??? if the cost of the trip is the problem, then donnt encarriege the Lady.
3nd generation Greek, and you know how to make baklava?? good for you,and just name but a few,how to eliminate your boredom.- Myself i've given you an idea, and am going to expand on it. You open a sweet shop selling baklava ONLY,with a couple of recipes from parts of Greece, and you name each and everyone the part the baklava comes from, i.e, "from Crete" from "Macedonia" and so on.Am sure will be great success, maybe instand success.-
Only happenned once, and i never spoke to the guy,and everybody around were saying what a potential pro had to be, Well he has proven them right. Time for European soccer between a Creek team and another one, don't know their name. What a fun i am.
Come to greece, you get some baklava recipes, get familiar with the making of baklava,in different parts of Greece, you go back, you open a shop, and you eliminate your boredom.
Have not a clue, who is in,but i playied once with Ernie Els in the same golf cource in S.A before became a pro, myself an amature then, but i had to stop playing altogether, because of back trouble. Enjoy the game.
In winter backggamon, cards ( a Creek game similar to bridge), hiking, walking, company and talking with the locals, nights out with good friends for dinner, etc, in summer mad house with the tourists.
Fulfilling ambitions most of the times goes hand in hand with wealth, don't you think?? You say that you been poor, and you living in Sandton ??? My knowlelge JHB area say this.. Only well off and rich people living in Sandton, unless now days has become Hillbrow of the north.-
