Hi Jon As you might know when catching the tuna the sailers catch also some other species like dolphins so if you eat the canned tuna then there you have your dolphin.
Dear Merrilou I think that is good we just have to be more tolerant to other people's choices.
To be passionate about an issue is a good start, what counts is what you DO and if you care for wildlife and children and etc. I hope you are doing things to improve the world, to improve life and being tolerante should be considered to let people know your points of view and perhaps someone might follow but every side has to be listened and respected.
I would not have wilda nimals for food if I have other choices but I would like to listen people who do and above all i do respect their opinions whatever their decision is.
I feel not anger and I do respect every bodies opinion.

Dear Minful I am very respecful of people's culture and I do not thing it was wrong to have the wild animals on the menu of the restaurants, that is the way they live and Venus have said too some people might not even imagine what we eat here in Mexico and I would add what people eat in China, every culture is unique.
and yes the food was very good in the homes of the people who kindly hosted me and my daughter and in the resturants the food was gourmet and also good.

I was kidding about latinos darling Doberman and indeed some are very "macho" type but there are some who are adorable, I lived with one for 24 yr and he was not "macho" he was so adorable, so adorable to his secretary too, the rest of the story easy to imagine it.
I do believe that great men and woman are in every culture and to state that I do not like women or men from a particular race because perhaps I meet a couple of them is from a very narrow mind.

And even in Greenland in remote places where there were not many options for food I could not have whale and the Greenlanders who host me would have whale or reindeer every day or so and I sat at the table with them and I had white wild bird or fish.

Hello Cincity of course I do respect wildlife and I do not eat them if I have another options. You do respect wildlife and would eat them, and I do respect too your personal preference.
But if I were in need for food and I had to eat wildlife I am sure I would.
I do not see anything wrong with that Mindful it is a personnel choice. The person that I was with on that trip did taste the whale and happens to be my daughter and she does try everything every place from food to extreme sports.
