Why do you travel?

What is importan is TO ENJOY the ride no matter where, how, how long.....

Sometimes I can not get to travel (because of money or time or both) so I stay at my hometown and I tell to myself I am on vacation on my own hometown and go around check the museums, go to the "cafés", go to a good Argentinian or Chinese restaurant with close friends(every thing on the budget) and so on...

*about Iceland I missed the volcano :(

You got a pont there TIMMING of your journey is quite important!

and safety is for me the first issue to consider just I do not get paronoic, measure the risks and decide it!

I would love to visit Thailand and Taiwan and and.....

My job has been for almost 3 decades into Rural development and this coming August I will start a certification to be an English teacher and I hope to go around the globe teaching spanish and perhaps English

Spaniers way of talking could be strong to my taste but their accent is lovelly so is the Brit accent for me.

About where to live I would love to go around the world and see every place and ONLY after that I might decide where to stop.

Returning home is a great moment specially when someone who loves us is awaiting and the White flowers on the table

in my case my two children (Grown ups)they both know that I love flowers so they bring them for me

Traveling is a passion of mine and I must confess that I go places and I do choose one as my favorite and then I go some other place and then I change it.

And then I feel like I have many favorite places at once but it is a nice feeliing remembering the places and the friends and the people.....

Spain is beautiful, I did enjoy Barcelona very much, although I did find that the way people from Span talks is quite different from Mexicans, not only the accent but the way they talk to each other a bit strong to my taste

Great for you that you will be able to enjoy FRance, so much to live there.
At Paris, for me the museums are just fantastic! of course The Louvre and the Pompidou, D'Orsay... do not forget the Opera House and check on the Marc Chagall's piece of art in it...

La Baja California is great place to visit and I agree with you about getting into the local life to really have the taste of the place and its people.

Myself I have been at Baja for bussiness only and I regret not giving me the time to enjoy it even though I have close friends there.

You might want to ask MR, Bodleing here about his experiencies and recomendations to get the most of your trip to Baja!

If I can be of any help about information i could ask my friends any thing you need to know about Baja

any place can be interesting but people can be really something else. when I travel I try to mingle with locals and I get so much from them, how they live, how they set their priorities...

I know very little of Austris and I have live at USA Maine and Michigan for 3 and 2 yr and I had a great time there, with wonderful people Americans and from other countries.

I hope you get the best of USA!
