RE: Have you ever wanted to go into politics?

Bill Clinton
John F. Kennedy, I feel, would have been amazing, had he lived.

RE: CS Trash Can

tosses his copy of "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" in the damn trash can....

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

I didn't say he was spotless...I said he is SMART....and he is...no two ways about it. The world is not in any sadder shape than it's ever been in, just a different version of sad. Clinton committed an impeachable offense and was impeached, but not removed from offense. G.W. has committed MULTIPLE impeachable offenses and should be impeached and removed from office, post haste.

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

To compare the war in the Iraq to the debacle in Waco, TX is like comparing......Jack the Ripper to the Holocaust......Each resulted in death, violent death.....but certainly not even close to the same scale.

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

Clinton got him some helmet.....no one died because of it, didn't even sustain a scratch....just a dry cleaning bill for that dress.

Bill Clinton was an excellent President and certainly the smartest in my life time. He had the right idea in Somalia..."hey, we'll help ya'll" WTF..."ya'll shot our copter down?, oh that's it...kiss my big behind...we're going home" LMFAO.....

RE: Thinning hair, how conscious are men when their hair starts thinning, does it affect their liives?

RE: If You Were ...

Dana will kick your butt for flirting.......wink devil

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

No, not everyone supported us going to Iraq. The ones that did support it, supported it based on gross misinformation, LIES, if you will. If you tell me that dog down the road has rabies and he's dangerous, well then I want that dog eliminated. If you said that just because you didn't happen to like that dog, or his owner, and that dog was put down because you bald faced lied, I would call for you to be accountable. Perhaps not the best analogy, but the best I could come up with quickly.

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

It most certainly does. Perhaps changing legislation would have/could have/should have been the precedent rather than waging war. Laws have been enacted without popular support of the American people...see the PATRIOT ACT...

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

Mitchell, you are entitled to your opinion. I wore U.S. Army on my chest for 4 years so that you could have your opinion and voice it. He is not doing the job nearly as well or with the precision that it could have been done. Sure, it's easy to second guess, but in something as drastic as military action or WAR....that should have been FORETHOUGHT and not AFTERTHOUGHT. Saddam was the damn enemy LONG BEFORE we ever took our dog to the fight. The United States supported him even when he was committing mass genocide. Do you not understand or concur that a SEAL team...of SF Team could have waxed Saddam and been gone before the world knew what happened. Elimination of a handful of targets is hardly worth the death and destruction that have ensued. We still do not have an attainable goal.....we never did, other than to remove Saddam from the seat of power. Islamic Extremists are no more dangerous in this world than Christian extremists, one of which wields the title of President of the United States.

In the Art of War, Sun Tzu says "When you engage in actual fighting, if victory is long in coming, then men's weapons will grow dull and their ardor will be damped. If you lay siege to a town, you will exhaust your strength." " In the practical art of war, the best thing of all is to take the enemy's country whole and intact;to shatter and destroy it is not so good. So, too, it is better to recapture an army entire than to destroy it, to capture a regiment, a detachment or a company entirethan to destroy them."

RE: Bush is a Duffer (dunce, dense)

Scratch the Geneva Convention.....Scratch conventionality.....

Surgical strikes against Irans' leadership and nuclear program. It can be done, it just is not being done. Surgical strikes into the heart of Iraq would have been much more effective at accomplishing the task of ridding the world of Saddam Hussein and his regime. Alas, Halliburton and big business would reap no benefit from that type of strike.
