Your question suggests we 'do' something or make an effort to display love. True love is like breathing, effortless, natural and free flowing. As Mike george puts it in one of his books, The Seven Myths About Love......
"Although love is primarily a state of being, a pure intention, love does, acts, but only when the source of love, the being (the self) knows itself as a 'being' and not a 'doing'! As long as we identify with what we do, we cannot know, be or give love. Love neither looks 'down at' others or 'up to' others. Which is why those who create a superior mindset, or an inferior mindset can be uncomfortable in the presence of love."
Glyn continues his work in Uganda for six months of the year while his wife and adopted daighter live in Bristol. He runs a charity in Kampala and also Tororo on the Uganda kenya border. The charity provides shelter for abused women and also educates husbands to change outdated atitudes towards their wives. It was a privilege and an education to spend time in Uganda with Glyn and witness what a wonderful job he and his team are doing out there. I'd love to return one day.
