Welcome to internet dating. I get lots of guys leading me on and it used to upset me; now I just laugh it off. I don't take anything these guys say to me seriously so if I were you; I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Absolutely; I think I said in a previous post it shouldn't be a competition. We are all important in some way even we don't fully realize it. Why would we be on this earth otherwise?

Well I see no problem promoting fitness as I work out on a regular basis; I just have a problem with the ego of this guy.

Dating/marriages shouldn't be about competition. Hell; I can play musical instruments so I shouldn't date/marry a guy that can't play one? Or how about me being a good shot with a rifle? So a guy has to outshoot me to marry me? Are you for real? Why don't you put your competitive ego aside and just accept a person for who they are? Being a good cyclist means nothing unless you are competing in the olympics. A match made in heaven is two people caring and accepting each other for who they are and has nothing to do with competition.
