Has to be a relatively quiet pub to start with....so that people can spot the 'meet' and talk to each other and get things going, then maybe move somewhere louder and more packed.
The last one was in the Dail bar, people came and left again because they couldn't see any recognisable group, and it was too loud to ask anyone!
Yeah though I hope the scumbag element of their fan base has disappeared. In about '84 I was chased from Tolka Park halfway through north Dublin by a group of them after an FAI cup semi-final.
My nephew was a toddler and was always asking his mammy for more salt on his dinner, she used to put her finger over the hole at the top of the salt cellar and shake it over his dinner....he didn't realise he was actually not getting any salt!
He happily ate his dinner after that......bless......
He's bitter and sectarian, only thing I can see to excuse him is his family history of what happened his father...I guess that can explain his views, if not excuse them.
