Researchers spoke with two legal experts, who explain Pelosi didn’t violate the U.S. Code.
Victoria Nourse with Georgetown Law explains the state of the union isn’t quote “filed or deposited” officially with the Speaker or Vice President Pence, they just get a copy.
It’s the President’s copy that’s the official Presidential Record that goes to the National Archive, and Pelosi ripped her own copy not his.
You need to be comfortable in your own skin. My sister's husband wanted her to dress in skimpy clothes. She liked to wear a shirt with a peter pan color and she was always buttoned up to her neck. She was tight with the money he liked to spend it. Opposites do not always attract.
The storm is here now. Thunder and lights are flickering so I better turn the computer off. Keeping my fingers crossed that the wind doesn't kick up because I have three huge trees close to my house.
As a child it would never enter my mind that food was a privilege. I still don't think it is.
Thinking that food is a privilege would be the same as saying having a job is a privilege. Having a job is a necessity but it's not a privilege.
To me a privilege is having access to a spa where people would wait on me, or having a fancy car, or a closet of designer clothes. I don't have an interest in those things, they are just examples.
A privilege is something that I alone cannot afford.
I think I'm in trouble. Weather reports, tv interruptions and my cell phone are going crazy to alert all of North Carolina that a tornado watch is effective until 1:00 a.m. EST.
I'll probably lose power so I better head off to the kitchen to cook up something that will last for a few days IF I survive the cloud.

The one term of endearment I dislike the most is "babe".
The other world where I come from New Jersey terms of endearment are used all the time. The biggest one used is hon (hun). Whether it be on the phone or the clerk bagging your groceries I often heard, Thanks Hon when I paid for the groceries.
I remember when I joined CS there was a woman who I think was a psychologist. One day I was in a thread debate and I said something like.........."We" blah blah blah. OMG, I was quickly cut down to size for saying a word that supposedly included everyone. Truth be told, I wasn't assuming that everybody was thinking the way I was thinking in that thread. That taught me a lesson to be careful when I'm in a thread not to use the word "We" such as......"We" don't do this or that....or...."We" don't like nasty threads. I learned to speak for myself.
Occasionally I'll use the word hon in a thread but it's only when I've interacted with that person before or I'm trying to be helpful. Frisky will attest to that
As for going on a first date if he calls me Baby........that's when I want to go back into the house. It is presumptuous to think that I am his Baby. I don't mind it if I'm in a relationship with him.
My favorite term of endearment is Honey. There's only one CS member who calls me that word and when he does I get all fluffy and smiley
