What old fashioned way of doing things is better than how they are currently done.

I'll be looking forward to reading what each poster's preference is.

I remember how we would use brown bags to protect the books and everyone's book cover was covered with scribbles, doodles, etc.

I remember we had to cover our school books as they were used year after year by the same classes.

I also did for my kids when living in germany.

Unfortunately, now they have to buy their own books for the year, which can be quite expensive for poor families.

And what about ALL glass bottles and jars had a deposit and we had to return them in order to get our money back.
That was in France.

In Germany, they also did that with the plastic bottles.
Which means you don't find any litter in the streets.

Here in Spain the streets, the countryside, the beaches are covered with plastic bottles and bags...which all end up in the sea!!! devil

Well see, there is an agenda going on that the world is overpopulated ,not enough food ,various illnesses .like the latest Corona ... i mean its very financially profitable to spread fear , but that the way it is now, yet i remember the times when people didnt genetically mess with food and we had tomatoes that actually smelled and tasted like tomatoes ... i used tomatoes just as an example ,but it goes for all fruits, vegetables and meet .. but we have to pay the price , pressure of hyper production ,more, more more , gimme gimme gimme

Oh no! So many sea creators are going to suffer and may die. Breaks my heart!

Here we are no longer able to use plastic bags for your groceries. We have to go in with our own reusable bags.

Since several other thing have already be covered, I will speak of Old fashioned Relationships, Years ago, it was taught, and believed that Marriage is till death do you part... It the Society we live in now, it is more treated as a disposable lighter...doh When one goes bad, just get another...This is now what the young generations are learning, (or seeing)... It is sad, but many of the newer versions of things do not carry the same values, as some from the past...JMO

I believe there were quite a few major "viruses " before "corona" like Black Death, influenza, Smallpox, the English sweat" etc. They killed millions of people and there were no vaccines . History is full of them.

"The average life expectancy in Europe during the Middle Ages was 35 years; 60% of children died before the age of 16, many of them during their first 6 years of life". (google)

I agree with your point of genetically modified food (bothl) as I don't have enough info to make any decision as everything in that area is pretty secretive. At this stage I am against.

Things used to be made better, so they could be repaired. Now they're made flimsy and generally not worth fixing.

if you do a checkup on where and when these pandemics happen -tho most data`s were customized to fit the ``modern age pharmaceutical needs`` . You will find that they appeared in urban places such as heavily populated cities .At times when most of Europe had very poor hygiene , no sewage .

There are numerous scientific papers, which are skillfully silenced or reshaped to mask the truth about the harmfulness of the vaccine, and which reveal that diseases such as autism, epilepsy, polio, diabetes, numerous allergies, asthma, decreased concentrations, learning disorders, skin lesions, multiple sclerosis, etc., a consequence of vaccination
