Does anybody have suggestions on how I might go about finding a dear friend I'd met in Mississippi back in 1976? We both stayed at the same campground, but she had to leave because her father got stationed in Washington state. We kept in touch for a bit after that, but we've been out of touch for years. I'd dearly love to find her again & possibly arrange a reunion!
I already have just about everything I want, with the exception of one. But you just never know, now do ya?
If I was to win the lottery I'd probably do what everyone else says they'd do. I'd pay off my house & rent it out (I was just telling that one to my roommate last night!). I'd travel all over. And I'd take my family on the vacation of their dreams! I'd pay off my step-father's house, demolish it, & build him one that he truly deserves. I'd give my daughter money to get a home for her family so that I knew that my babies were in a home of their very own. And I'd invest some to keep the profit flowing in.
I remember when you went there! It partially enticed me to look more seriously into going. My aunt lives in Antioch & my cousin lives in San Fran. Cat & I will be staying at my aunt's house, while we're out there. She's going to show us everything there is to see!! She's already been working on an itinerary. She's taking us 'night sight-seeing' when she picks us up from the airport!! This is going to be fabulous!!
to you venere. I had the hardest time cutting those apron strings!! You get so used to having them there & then, one day, they're gone. And next thing you know, the house is quiet, nobody to have random conversations with. Nobody yelling, "Mom! Where's my sweater??" or "Mom, I'm HUNGRY! What's for dinner??" I found myself lonely & bored. My friends helped me out there, though. I was suddenly the 'available' one. The one who could go anywhere on a moment's notice. And I got to liking that!
