Yes, cat & I have a very strong bond. She's such a sweetheart & we just click as friends. We've both been there for each other lately, which we both needed.
I just can't wait for this trip! We're going to have a blast! And I have CS to thank for it!
Of course, there are others whom I consider my very close, dear friends... they know who they are. But there are very few I would shy away from on here.

Doc & I aren't together anymore, Shed. But that was how he piqued my interest... & it worked. I just thought I'd share what worked with me.
Mine was a guy I'd talked to on one of those STUPID phone date things. We had arranged to go out. He asked if I could drive... he didn't have a license. I later found out that he'd lost it for a drunk-driving accident he had in my friend's car! Turns out they knew each other... & she really didn't have anything kind to say about him. But I only found out after we went out.
Anyway, I picked him... & his friend... up at his trailer. I had to drop the friend off somewhere else. Then we proceeded to go to this biker bar. He got pretty shnockered. This old guy was looking at me & my "date" got jealous. So, we left there, before he started a fight & went to this real "DIVEY" bar!
We shot some pool & were having at least a HALF-decent time. Then the old guy from the previous bar showed up. Well, my "date" (and I use that term VERY loosely) started to say stuff. I finally talked him into leaving.
I dropped him off back at his place & proceeded to go home. He called & called... & called. Finally, I talked to him & told him I had no interest in seeing him again.
Recently, he's been sending me messages on another dating site I belong to. So, I blocked him.
Good for you! My parents & brother were in the Air Force. But I have to say I enjoyed growing up in the military, moving around, enjoying all the benefits, etc. It's a great career choice, but scarey right now. But never the wrong choice.
