Hey i just found out i was leaving for the navy not next february but this thurday. I asked if i could leave earlier and they sure gave me earlier.

my plan is to do two years, graduate from nuclear powerschool, use all 80 credits i get from the navy plus the 16 i already have and finish my degree in the ROTC program and then do six years as a Nuclear Power Trained Officer on Submarines.

I'm excited!!!

Good luck and enjoy the experience. It will be a good life. I spent 20 years in the military and I don't regret a minute of it. You will meet some great people. It is a different lifestyle. So be ready to change! Learn to adapt and accept this unique culture. People that learn to accept it rather than trying to change it get rewarded.

Thank you in advance for your service. I think you have quite a solid plan set out for yourself, and I have a feeling you're going to do just fine.

I had to go Army...I'm claustrophobic. rolling on the floor laughing
