RE: What is the number one turnoff for women?

I have to agree PB. I once was dating a guy whom I termed "GQ". In other words... pretty boy. He called & asked me to meet him out at a bar. I told him I didn't look very good. Can you believe he said, "That's OK. I'll look good enough for the BOTH of us."???? What a JERK!!! frustrated mumbling

RE: Can a man truly love a woman?

So true, Ras. I'm content being single. When Mr. Right comes along, I'll embrace it. But I'm sure not going to rush it just so that I'm not alone.

RE: Be honest.......

I agree with you PB. But if I see that there's no convincing the other person to at least take a look through my eyes, or the arguing is getting nasty, bitter, or redundant, I tend to just stop posting. It's just not worth it, IMO.

How was your Easter?

So, how was your holiday? What did you do? Did you have an enjoyable day?

I picked my father up at the home & took him over to my sister's house for dinner. It was a beautiful day outside. We all ate a wonderful meal.

After dinner, I played with my grandchildren & gave them their Easter gifts, doting on my newest grandbaby, Alivia.

Later, I was sitting at my sister's computer, when her 10 year old son went into a tyrade. When I tried to calm him down, he screamed obscenities at me. Then my brother-in-law ordered him to his room.

My father & I left shortly after that. I took him back to the home & proceeded home. I laid down on the couch to watch some TV & promptly fell asleep, only to wake again at 1:30 am.

Such is our dysfunctional Easter! dunno

RE: When do romantic preferences become unrealistic expectations or even vintage intolerance?

Well, the first one did come back & wanted me back. Unfortunately, after so much time & pain had passed, I simply wasn't the same person.

The second one, well, we'll see.

RE: When do romantic preferences become unrealistic expectations or even vintage intolerance?

I think these two went much deeper than most. I got to see & know their souls. And yes, in these two instances, I did excuse some 'criteria'.
