I'm right there with ya in the grandchild department, PB. Nothing better in the world, is there? My baby Alivia just got 2 bottom teeth last week & is now sitting up on her own. She's growing so fast! She's now 8 months!!
Chipped cooked ham, lettuce, tomato, provalone or Heidi Ann Swiss, mayo, salt & pepper on Italian please... yum!! And some potato chips on the side with a pickle.
I'm sorry you & the family have to go through this. My daughter & I lost my mother in 2005 to emphyzema, just 3 months after she'd lost her other grandmother to cancer. I felt so bad for her, having to bear all of it in such a short amount of time.
When I called my daughter that night, after my mom passed, she cried, "No! No! Make her come back!" And she was 18. Not something anybody should have to go through, much less a youngster.
I'd love to come! Haven't been camping in quite a few years! My only dilemma is that I don't drive distance...
That & it'll be the start of the fall semester & the boss is extremely reluctant to let anybody have off then. I tried to get off to go to Biloxi with the Red Cross after Katrina & he said I couldn't.

I packed my office up on Thursday, before I left, as I wasn't going to be here on Friday. They moved us on Friday... well, partially, at least. Half the stuff is here & half the stuff is there. I'M GOING CRAZY TRYING TO GET THINGS DONE!!!!
