Has this ever happened to you?

Have you ever met someone with whom you became instantly infatuated & then within a few weeks, they're gone? Then you meet someone who you're attracted to & you're not sure about your feelings. Guy #1 came on strong & left. Guy#2 treats you like gold. Why does it seem (at least for me) that guy #2 always takes a back seat? Why do we sometimes pass up the genuine ones for the challenges?
