They just passed the law here... rather quickly, after tragedy struck.

A taxi driver was driving a young couple across the river. A man was coming the opposite way, who'd had too much to drink & was texting, as he was driving across the bridge. He hit the taxi head-on & killed the taxi driver & female passenger. He's in REALLY hot water now. <-- this is for the young man who lost his fiance that night.

I have one wonderful, very special daughter. And her birthday happens to be today. 23 years ago today, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, who later became one of my best friends & my total pride & joy. Now, she's given me 3 beautiful grandchildren. We've had our downfalls & rough roads... but she's got a pretty good head on her shoulders & sometimes is more sensible than her mama. Love my baby girl!!

I agree with that jeepers! A high school boyfriend had broken up with me to go back to his ex-girlfriend. One day he was at the mall with a mutual friend of ours. I was talking to the friend & later he told me that my ex said to him, "She never looked that good when we were together!"

We did this about a year ago, but there are a lot of new people on here. So I thought it might be fun to do it all over again!

Did you ever get duped by someone & get back at them? Did anyone ever get even with you for breaking up with them? Now, I'm not talking about something that you could be sent to state prison for... But I've heard some pretty funny stories, like one girl put Nair in her ex's shampoo bottle when she left. Another planted a used 'sanitary napkin' in her ex's car. I, personally, have NEVER done any of this! Have you?

I find that I just don't make good coffee. So, I stopped making it altogether. I can't tell you the last time my coffeemaker's been used! It just sits there, staring at me, saying, "I dare you to try again!"

My ex-best friend used to make the most AWESOME Starbucks coffee!! I sure do miss that! I normally just go to the local convenience store & get coffee. Or if I really want a treat, I order up a decaff mocha latte with skim milk & whipped cream!

I just found out that a guy I knew in high school, a man who is near & dear to my heart, is in intensive care, close to death. He was paralyzed in a sand lot football game in high school. I was there & will never forget that day. He was a promising soccer player & is a wonderful man. His brother just emailed me & told me that, because of the meds he's been taking, his stomach has ulcers & he's been in & out of the hospital for a while. I just recently met his brother & told him that I know Mike & to tell him I said hi. When he mentioned me & asked if Mike remembers me, Mike nodded that he did. The next day, he ended up in intensive care. He's giving up. Please pray for him!! This is a wonderful man who hasn't even begun to have his day!
