Years ago, my daughter had locked herself in a room in our apartment. Being that she was about a year old, she couldn't figure out how to unlock the door & started screaming & crying. I had to get a neighbor to open the door.
After that, I thought of inventing a cover to go over the door knob so that children couldn't lock themselves inside anymore. But I never went through with it.
I voted for American Idol. I do have to agree with your comment about Ellen though. Why in the world did they choose to have HER on the show??
I watched DWTS last week just to see if Kate-wench could dance... it was TORTURE to watch her. She STINKS!! They need to get her off that show... yesterday!! She lives a few miles from here & I wish she'd move to another country! Doing things for her children... yeah right!!
VERY interesting!! I do remember the feeling I had during the dream. Very uneasy. And when I went to drive away, my brakes failed. I couldn't stop the darned car!!
I've also had dreams about my mom still being alive. In some of them, I didn't want her there. In others, I felt a good, comforting feeling because she was there.
I wouldn't mind taking a course on dream interpretation. Very fascinating!
My one co-worker was complaining that she was so hungry & I offered her her choice. But she wouldn't take it. So I had the chicken dinner & will save the spaghetti for lunch tomorrow. Then I can also remember to bring in my 5 cheese Texas toast to go with it.
Yes, but it's also a proven fact that even if they do attract, it usually doesn't work in the long run. Just like opposite ends of 2 magnets. There's always friction.
I believe how you feel inside radiates on the outside & draws people to you. That being said, if you're a generally positive, kind person, you should attract the same kind of people to you, whether it be for friendship or a relationship. So, if you're a generally negative, pessimistic person... the same applies.
Why is it that some dreams seem so real that when you wake, you actually still almost feel as though you were never asleep? I remember one recent dream in which I wrecked my car, much like I had my last car in September. I literally had to go to my window & look outside at it to make sure that it WASN'T wrecked. That's how real the dream was.
Do you believe these dreams are premonitions, are there to teach us something (a lesson), or just a fluke?
I just succeeded in making everyone in my office hungry... I heated up a BBQ chicken & baked potato for lunch. This place smells so good! And the chicken practically fell off the bone!
Excellent suggestion!! I'm going to start doing this. I know many books/websites claim to be able to interpret dreams. Many are similar in their interpretations, but not completely in agreement. Also, it's like doing a puzzle or detective work. After reading the interpretations, you then have to decipher the dream & see if what they're saying it means makes sense to you.
That reminds me of the summer of 77, down in Southern Mississippi... one of the other families camping at the campground we were at had brought a cast iron kettle along & made gumbo over an open fire. It was to DIE FOR!!!
RE: could you invent something and become rich?????
