I make bacon spaghetti, halushki with kielbasa, & a KILLER chili. I also make chicken penne pasta with broccoli & parmesian. I make several dishes & desserts. To me, cooking is relaxation therapy.
I'm an extremely independent woman... sometimes to a fault. But when I go out on a date with a man, I do still like to (but do expect to) have doors opened, chairs pulled out, help with my coat, etc. To me, it's just good manners, on the man's part. And for me, it wins "brownie points".
Sometimes things just look greener on the other side of the hill. Experience is a good teacher, however. As John said, maybe things weren't right at that moment in time.
"If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it is yours. If it doesn't, it never was."
