I've switched to whole wheat breads & pastas. I cut out starches & eat a lot less carbs. I'm just eating healthier all-around. I've now officially lost 16 lbs! Only 2-4 more lbs to go!!
Well, the dates have been set. I'll take the train to Cat's place on Oct 10th. We'll fly down to BigJohn's on Oct 11th & return to Cat's place on Oct 18th. Then I'll take the train back here the next day.
You're pretty accurate, Morgan. He suffered an aneurysm in February. He got out of the hospital & then suffered a subdural hematoma, which put him back in the hospital for a bit.
I'm so glad to see that he's having such good progress with his recovery!
Could be... but he has a girlfriend, so he says. He's band director for the opposing team & they're playing at our field. He invited me to come sit with him & the band & "catch up".
I'm sitting here in my office, looking out the window. All I can see is buckets of rain coming down. How depressing! And I've been invited to our local football game tonight to hang out with an old flame. I doubt I'll be doing that...
Thanks Johnny! I did cut out the carbs for a couple of weeks. Then I just started buying couscous, whole wheat bread, & whole wheat pasta. I've cut back on salt intake & eat seafood & poultry.
To date, I've lost a total of 15 lbs. And no, I don't starve myself. I'm just eating more sensible & loving it!
