There's no such thing as the perfect man, here or anywhere. Just as there's no such thing as the perfect woman. It all boils down to what qualities will you tolerate/not tolerate, IMO.
Jerry Maguire. Boy meets girl, boy doesn't acknowledge love for girl, boy loses girl, boy can't live without girl, boy goes after girl, boy wins girl back.
We always have a good time. He'd been away from us for many years, & after having survived Hurricane Katrina, he was ready to come back.
I really enjoy taking him out & watching him enjoy his time away from the home. The only downfall is lifting the wheelchair in & out of my trunk over & over & over again! It just KILLS my back!!
Friday, I went to the local club & hung out with friends. Saturday, I just ran errands & stuff. Saturday night, & went to my friend's house & hung out. Today, I'll be taking my father out for dinner, just as I do every other Sunday.
I'm hoping to plan a trip to the Big Apple sometime in the near future. My daughter needs a break from her little ones & I told her I'd take her as a belated Mothers Day present.
I left my ex when my daughter was almost 5. I didn't want her growing up to think that men treated women the way her father treated me. I had more self-esteem & self-worth than he gave me credit for. I also wanted her to know that a woman doesn't just stay with a man because she feels he's her superior & has to provide for her & the children.
She & I have a bond that will never be broken! We're like best friends. She calls me all the time, just to talk. We've had our rifts over the years, but we're always there for each other. And I don't love anyone in the world as I do my baby girl... well, and my grandbabies!
We'll be leaving 3 weeks from today, May 22nd. I just hope we have nice weather. We have a full itinerary. And I'm sure Cat will want to get some shopping in when we have free time. No matter what, we're going to leave our troubles at home & enjoy ourselves!
