Ditto. I 2nd that Packersbabe. We go from shorts, strappy t shirts etc...to leggings, jeans, boots and all that stuff in the winter months and it's still around 18C during winter where I live but goes quite cold at night. Big drop from 40C to 18C. That's why we have to have so many clothes

Awww, that's so nice of you galrads It will take me days to try and suss out my tablet as apposed to my computer. I only use my tablet when I go away and it's a new tablet as I dropped my other when going through security at Philly Airport and the screen cracked grrrr. That one was like a mini PC with Windows on it. This new one is an android. I still love my computer with a nice big screen, a keyboard and my little mouse

Well I've just got my new E.S.T.A. approved again for the next 2 years so it's America here I come again. Looking forward to Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year but definitely not burgers n chips. Maybe a trip out to a couple of Restaurants, probably a Chinese,Indian and Italian. Not all in one night though haha. I'll be cooking lots of traditional Uk dishes. Steak, onions and dumplings, Tata Hash, mince n onion pies etc......Sunday roast, with boiled spuds, cauli, carrots, lots of stuffing and lashings of gravy but my speciality is Chilli con Carne. Yummy lol............

I'm gonna make sure that I will live and claim every penny that I've worked for from the Uk Government. If not, I will make sure that my kids can claim a "Certain" amount from them. If that doesn't happen. I will "come" back from the "Dead" and kill the lot of them

Receiving my "State Pension" from the Uk Government which I've worked for and paid into the system from the age of 15 to 50 (working full time) and should have received when I reached 60 but now have to wait until I'm 66. I wonder where the £45.000 has gone with not paying me what I have worked bloody hard for? No free child care way back then. Worked nights at the Hospital for the NHS and in the Elderly Peoples Homes for Social Services. Worked round my 3 kids, grabbing a "nap" when I could. I've had "nothing" given to me. I'm one "proud" woman............

I've heard of the "Spanish Fly" but in all the 12yrs that I've lived here in Spain. I've never really thought about it. Now, put a "Cocky" Cucaracha, Cockroach near me and "I would run 500 miles" As the song goes, Ok it's only "walk" but I would definitely *Run*. A good "read up" though on Wikipedia re the "Spanish Fly. I'm very well up on "Mosquitoes" though. When all the tourist's come over and they get *bitten* we tell them exactly what to buy from the Farmacia (Pharmacy) Chemist. Under 2 euros per tube here and no need to buy anything else. Works wonders for the horse fly bites and such in the Uk too..........I always take some to America cos I get bitten like mad over there and I hate that repellent stuff with "Deet" in it. I'll stick to going over there in the winter months "smiles"........

I think that you can still recognise Ringo and Sir Paul in their elderly years, unlike David Guest and Mickey Rourke that went a bit "too" far. If they have the money and they wish to do it. Who are we to complain? We all get older....I want that Plastic Surgeon that wears that *Donald Duck* when he's performing the surgery. Where exactly does your son live? as I've lived here for many years in Spain. We have many friends here from Finland and Norway Infact my neighbours to my right are from Finland and my other friends come over from Norway. They bring over reindeer hearts which I won't eat but maybe you need to do your research on these Countries.............
