RE: Great modern British men

rolling on the floor laughing

Thanks laugh I'm actually trying to brew my own. Just something a wanted to try. If it doesn't work then it's an experience grin As for the raincoat. I think it would be me having to wear one. A good friend "in his 70's that I'd know for 15 years, because of an argument regarding States in America which I proved him wrong, proceeded to pour MY glass of wine over my head. I didn't hurt him that much as he was in his 70's but he didn't walk again for 2 weeks. Disgusting behaviour for a man at that age crying

RE: Great modern British men

Yeehawwww thumbs up

RE: Great modern British men

Go and play with Mark rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Great modern British men

I'm not up to date with Uk politics as I've only just moved back home here to the Uk. I'm not sure where Nigel Farage is in politics but I see many posts on FB regarding him. As for Boris, I think he was thrown in "head first" having to deal with Brexit and then Covid. I don't think it's been an easy year for him but I think he's trying his best.

Piers Morgan, I have mixed feelings. He could be too overpowering on GMB, he wouldn't let anyone speak and he over stepped the mark when interviewing someone "I can't remember who" and he wouldn't let her speak, he just tried to ridicule her, hence he got "chopped" I actually watched it that day. As for his interviews with prisoners in US. I think he was forewarned not to wind them up so he was gentle with them. We saw a totally different side to him as in when he did the interviews with Celebrities. He may lay low now for awhile.

As for Jeremy Clarkson. I only know he does a Car programme. Not interested so I can't comment.

I would have a glass of wine with Nigel, definitely Boris wine Piers Morgan, I have my doubts about him. Once he gets off his high horse thinking that he's "all that" then maybe I would throw a glass of wine over him rolling on the floor laughing
Jeremy Clarkson, I couldn't care less.........

RE: Morning or Late Night

You speak for yourself you old git rolling on the floor laughing

As the saying goes. "When I get as old as you" then I'll start worrying laugh

I'm astounded at men in their 70's calling women "old bags". I thought men in their older years would have been brought up with some "respect" My dad would never have spoken like that. Yes! I'm truly shocked crying

RE: Morning or Late Night

laugh thumbs up

I'm not a morning type of person so no "morning glory for me" sleep Now an "afternoon delight" might work for medunno but I'm more alive at night grin Must be with working nights for most of my life and before anyone says anything about nights. I meant in a Hospital and in a E.P.H, not on the streets.tongue

Afternoon delight always reminded me of "Angel Delight" the dessert you whisk up like a blancmange grin

RE: Languages and accents.

I'm a Northener but hopefuly sound nowt like these two laugh

RE: Checking profiles.

Maybe that's the reason why a lot of people here on CS are very cautious these days.professor

RE: Checking profiles.

"I don't" don't know where the "very" came from laugh I'm multitasking professor

RE: Checking profiles.

I very don't look at profiles either, well maybe to check that they'e scammers if they message me laugh

RE: Musicians

My youngest son has just got his Masters Degree in Music and Network Security. He mixes music. That's his type of thing grin

My eldest son played double bass drums. I always wondered where all my pillows went rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Musicians

Mine was " It's Magic" courtesy of my late sister in law, but we "souped" it up and played it faster with a good backing on our keyboards grin

RE: Musicians

Sorry but I disagree. I can put my keyboard into "piano mode" and use it like a piano. I have 2 "split points" on my keyboard re chords. If you keep a key pressed, it will keep playing that note until you play another note, the same as the chords. A piano won't do that. I've only ever played "Chopsticks" on a piano lol.

Just set up my keyboard after 15 or more years. Had to buy "stickers" to tell me what notes they are lol. I'm a "novice" again crying but it will be fun learning againgrin

Shame my sister in law isn't here anymore God Bless Her. She got me into playing a keyboard. She used to play an organ at first and I got into it so I got a keyboard. then she bought the same keyboard as I bought. We used to have fun teaching each other songs. I had a tutor just to explain the timing of notes etc.

When she passed away suddenly aged 43, she had the music book "Phantom of the Opera" open with the song "Think of Me" which I was teaching her. Needless to say, this was played at her funeral. Long time ago now.
When I play my keyboard. I play each note as if someone was singing. That's just as it says in my music books
handshake

RE: the who's viewed me

Yeah! I read their messages the I block them cos they are scammers rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Mango

I don't doubt you for 1 minute Ali. I'm just saying that they go well with Indian poppadoms and curry grin

RE: Love / pick-up lines

I believe you but 1000's wouldn't grin

RE: Musicians

I just got rid of every thing when I was in Spain. My xenix amplifier and all the other stuff. I just kept my keyboard and books. I just couldn't bring it all back to the Uk. I'm now starting out again. Lost all my recordings on SS but that's life. I had some brilliant videos's on SS but lost them all.crying

RE: Musicians

Even though I couldn't play a piano as it's totally different to me as playing a keyboard. I think that I could try and yank up playing yanky doodle dandy solo but without the bottom keys grin If you have the feel for music. I know this may seem strange but give me a musical instrument and I can suss it out but tell me to draw something and I'm bloody hopeless. I couldn't even draw a matchstick man rolling on the floor laughing Give me a mouth organ "harmonica" a wooden recorder etc. and I could suss that out in no time at all. We all have our talents in different things teddybear

RE: Joe Biden met with Boris johnson

At least it isn't Trump meeting Boris. Thank goodness. All of the Uk are happy now cheering applause
