RE: What is your favorite room in your home?

My next door but one neighbours have an 8yr old shih tzu called Oscar. I've only lived here for 9 months but these neighbours are absolutely awesome. I know Oscar as they have him groomed every 4 weeks and I go with them to Morcambe, a seaside town in the north of England. They won't leave him alone in their house as it's just something that they have never done. They asked me if I would have him next friday for a couple of hours. Of course I said yes as Oscar knows me. He can jump up onto my bed any time grin I'm actually looking at fostering rescue dogs. Not sure what it entails yet but if I can give some sort of a loving home to a rescue dog then so be it bouquet

RE: What is your favorite room in your home?

Isn't it great being "Single" you don't have to share anything, especially a bed rolling on the floor laughing I just could't stand anyone being in my bed now laugh Even though it's a double one. I like to spread myself about a bit when I'm in it rolling on the floor laughing banana

RE: What is your favorite room in your home?

Definitely my bedroom. My happy place grin TV put on when I go to bed, TV back on if I want a lie in laugh Always have a bottle of sparkling spring water on my bedside cabinet. The last place I would want to be is in my kitchen laugh I cook up lots of food to freeze into "portions" Give me my bedroom and my bed, anyday. The next , would be my garden banana

RE: Jesus the Great

It's quite a common name in Spain but pronounced "hay-SOOS". It's a well known saying to say "hay-SOOS". when someone sneezes, like we say Bless You grin

RE: Which supermarket?

You wouldn't like some of the Supermarkets in Spain then jac. They have whole baby piglets in the freezers at Christmas time...I couldn't look at them even though I'm a meat eater.

I very rarely eat bacon or pork/ham. I do enjoy turkey bacon on the rare occasion though.....

RE: Which supermarket?

Walmart bought out our Asda in the Uk. I love going round Walmart when I'm over there, they have the "George" clothing like our Asda doesgrin Enjoy going round all the different Dollar Stores too. I even enjoy having a good root around in the Good Will Stores. Love looking at all the pottery and glass things etc... My friend bought me a brass Liberty Bell from there. I still have it and it still rings laugh I do miss Taco Bell though crying

RE: Which supermarket?

I do my food shopping online, either from ASDA or Sainsbury's. As I don't drive at the moment and in a very rural area, no shops near me plus it's delivered to my home. I quite enjoy doing it online grin Compare prices etc....I like certain things from ASDA and certain things from Sainsbury's. My neighbour shops at Aldi so if she needs anything from ASDA or Sainsbury's, I order it for them and visa versa, works out great for us.

Has anyone tried the Candy Floss/Cotton Candy green seedless grapes? My son told me about them. I think they're luvly jubbly banana

RE: War and trump

I find that your question is quite ludicrous. Trump isn't the president of the US, therefore your question is silly and stupid. It's a bit like me saying what would Pakistan do if Trump, Biden, Boris Johnson etc... were the leader of Pakistan and what would they do? rolling on the floor laughing Grow up and stop trying to cause "conflict" What a pathetic question devil

RE: Has anyone told you in the cs forums that you are liar.

Yeah! I'm at that point in life that I'm dammed if I do and dammed if I don't. I'm a natural brunette but grey all at the front so I went blonde as the grey blends in with the blonde and I was wazzed off colouring the roots every 4 weeks. Now this is my dilemma. If I stick to my own colour, my roots at the front will be grey. When I'm blonde, the roots at the back are brunette rolling on the floor laughing It's a no, no situation at the moment laugh

Oh well! worse things happen at sea grin

RE: Anyone for Lunch

Could you do a Star Trek Lunch? as I want to be "Beaned" up grin

RE: Has anyone told you in the cs forums that you are liar.

As a woman. I find it far more difficult to get my hair dyed, my false eyebrows, my false eyelashes, my false nails. botox in my face done. I'm a good liar grin Although I do have my hair done as I'm going grey in my old age crying grin

RE: Has anyone told you in the cs forums that you are liar.

Do you mean "Liar"?

I've been called far worse. It's just like water off a ducks back to me laugh

RE: Many countries snub UN sanctions for Russia.

Where does America stand regarding all of this? Phone a friend? 50/50? or ask the audience? I can't see America getting involved in all of this but yet a lot of Americans on here are yet again trying to cause conflict. This is a war were innocent people. men, women and children are being bombed.

Do you know Gally why these Countries aren't condemning Russia? we are just mere civilians. We don't have control over our Governments crying I just feel for the people of the Ukraine. It doesn't matter what Country they come from. Those little children who have done no harm to anyone don't need to be blown to bits or suffer for days from the horrific injuries they suffered and then die a slow and painful death. This is reality. Think of it if it was one of your owncrying

RE: If it is true that all you need is Love, why has Love rejected you?

Nah! send them over to Spain grin A lot of places in Spain are "run" by the Russian Mafia and they are not all bad people. When I was staying in America for 6 weeks at a time. My Russian friends told me that no one would try and break into my home whilst I was away and no one didthumbs up You can't blame anyone for the problems that the "Governments" do. Most Russians are against what Putin has done. I don't blame Americans for what Trump or Obama did. The American people had no choice, they cast their votes.

The people from England are always being slagged off from the Irish, Scottish and Welsh people. I just think "ffs" that's bloody history. You can't turn the clock back. Every Country has made mistakes but NOT the people that has lived in them.

So! are you gonna be an ugly Ukraine or a Russian? Answer on a "Postcard" Phone a Friend, 50/50 or ask the "Audience"devil

RE: Delete The Forums?

Why delete the Forums? dunno I'm not on this site to meet anyone, even though it's a "so called" dating site I personally "hide my profile" when I log off as I don't want the stupid silly messages that I receive and have to start "blocking" people. My profile states that "I'm not looking" To me, the Forums are totally different to a persons profile and people can't even take the time to read it devil If you get my "drift"? I personally love the Forums. I say what I want, when I want but trying to adhere to CS rules "obviously" Enters the "wink" emoji grin

RE: Petit-dejeuner pour vous

I thought they were "Black Peas" at first grin Something that many Lancastrians eat on Bonfire Night. Lovely to eat but not good on the gut. I could blow up balloons for days grin

Parched peas, also known in Lancashire as black peas, are a traditional treat in the North of England, especially when served on Bonfire Night ?on November 5th. Family and friends will gather around the bonfire to celebrate the failed plot of Guy Fawkes to overthrow the government and blow up Parliament in 1605. As it is usually a cold and often wet night, this pea dish, which is cooked and served with vinegar, is a more than welcome way to help warm up cold tummies.
Once cooked, the slightly thickened and mushy peas are sprinkled with malt vinegar. It's a very special treat.

My apologies for the "cut n paste"

bouquet

RE: who are you going to call when the world sees war?

America and the Uk can't resolve this. i just pray that my kids will have the chance to live through all of this. What a life that they've had to live Not knowing any better. as they didn't know what was going on crying This is for my" Family" songpurple heart

RE: who are you going to call when the world sees war?

Probably Gov.Uk to ask when the hell is my State Pension going to be sorted out?
No! in all honesty. As a Senior Citizen, I feel so sorry for what this World has become nowcrying Remembering what our Fathers/ Grandfathers/ Mothers and Grandmothers had to go through during WW1 and WW2. I just can't comprehend what the hell is going on now. So soon after all the devastation that Covid caused. WW3 will just obliterate all mankind. No arguing who has the best missiles. I just feel sorry for the young people that may never get to live their lives sad flower

RE: What is your nationalism preference ?

I didn't vote once. I don't vote on any polls. Are you saying that I did?

RE: How do you handle it?

If I ever felt the need to want to meet someone, then it certainly wouldn't be anyone from an online dating site rolling on the floor laughing Been there, done that and got a million T Shirts laugh Nah! it may work for some but I'd rather just meet someone in "real" life. Just my choice.........

RE: If you were to serenade..

I would sing this to my late Mother as she did to me. I can only recall her singing this to me when I was 4yrs old, she changed the words to "Suzy" Sunshine. angel Long time ago now but memories never fade purple heart

RE: Can you think about the future without being sad? Where will you be in 12 years?

I'm a "whiner" or should I say "winer"grin "winks" lol.

I do believe that there are other lives out there on other Planets. Maybe they are in the same situation as we are on earth? Will we ever know? It could take however amount of years to find outdunno

RE: Name that storm.

I saw the devastation that hurricane Sandy caused way back in 2012. They were re building the boardwalks at Sea Side Heights and Ocean City. Saw the "Big Dipper" ride that was still in the sea, all broken up crying The little shops on the boardwalks were selling keyrings and other tiny things with a tiny piece of the "original" boardwalk wood.
A storm is called a "Tormenta" in Spanish. I have to try and remember the little bit of Spanish that I've learned teddybear

Cold Drop "Gota Fria" in *Spanish* is amazing. I've only ever seen this in Spain....very quick but totally awesome. The amount of water that is dropped within 15 seconds is phenomenal heart wings

RE: Name that storm.

Well! I think that us Northeners are well prepared now thumbs up My late Mum was called Gladys and she was a "storm" but not in a tea cup. God Bless Her heart wings

RE: Name that storm.

Along with "Tormenta Trump" and

"Thunder Clap Clinton" rolling on the floor laughing angel

RE: Nothing is free.

This site is "free" rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Who's your favorite less-recognized singer?

Maybe one day. People will learn from our "mistakes" and don't need to "hide" away anymorehead banger

RE: Who's your favorite less-recognized singer?

Hopefully no one can argue re this song banana

RE: Who's your favorite less-recognized singer?

This is my favourite at the momentgrin Never underestimate a Woman rolling on the floor laughing Over, Out and under......

RE: Prince Charles

As a Royalist for many years. I realise now that with everything that's going on now that Our Queen should let sleeping dogs lie. Let whoever conduct their investigations. You can't condemn our Queen for any of her children's actions. They are adults, treat them as such, persecute them as such. Our Queen has gone through much more than many people will ever know. I couldn't give a shi1 about Charles or the Monachy below him. I just have respect for our Queen and she has had to obey by the rules re the idiots of the Uk Government. Elizabeth will never forget. having to give her sister Margaret the
ultimatum. If people don't have the time to look at British History then that's their fault dunno

Our Queen and long may she reign heart wings heart beating
