Austin Healey Sprites are soapboxes. To small that US cars were to big. But fun to drive, I once had a MG B. Probably that's why I love the AC Cobra. I wouldn't want the Shelby GT500 though.
I'll get the steamos version. I already have shift2 on obsolete Windows, which is huge fun. I love the AC Cobra...but need a steering wheel compatible with X-Plane etc. flightsims.
If you still use that obsolete M$ office, to avoid incompatibilities with older or other office apps, use ISO standardized OpenDocument Format *.odt etc. documents.
Maybe I'm getting old or my TV. A lot of newer movies have so loud music, that you can hardly understand what they're saying. Both german or native english, but I need to verify this.
Yes, if it wouldn't be superior, I would not bother to use Ubuntu. But don't expect to understand everything quickly nor to not run across bugs. I even run my Windows apps on Linux perfectly. Try the live cd demo and different desktops (kde, gnome etc. with the synaptic package manager) and see it you like it before installing.
Complete nonsense. I use it for years and boot other os only to recompile stuff. Even a 14y. old can work on Linux after 2 weeks without problems. Bugs, sure there are enough, but have always a fix by simple googling for a minute.
What kind of teacher? For children on how to use word? I had to take a word course back in 98 and it was the dumbest course that I've ever taken. 90% of word's functions are useless and we got a 1000 page homebrewed manual by the instructor.- I'd have been much better with a little booklet...but I got the course payed. We got to know later that our teacher was a unemployed car mechanic... Go spam other threads little Troll.
Again and for everybody. For me Windows is obsolete. Anybody not understanding what the lady is doing, sure don't try Linux as you will never ever understand it anyway.
I multiboot various os with default grub (comes with linux) So if you have enough space, let's say ~20GB for each os, simply install alike the video. As I've said, nowadays there's no need to install any linux drivers, apart the graphical 3D drivers from Nvidia etc. All your hardware should work out of the box, only some exotic hw might not work perfectly. (google or ubuntuforums.org will surely help) For ex. my webcam only recently got fully supported, (move lens, zoom etc.) which is kind of luck as there are no more drivers for win8!- But as demo you can simply select try instead of install after burning and booting from the Ubuntu CD. (or Mint but I don't see why that should be any better) You might need to change the boot sequence in the bios for booting from cd.
I also have a Win98 app that doesn't work in Win8 anymore but runs fine with Wine.
I often got surprised by germans that didn't help even seeing things. But I believe Indians to be worse..only think how they treat their women! Cannot say about others...
Installed yesterday Mavericks and found Hands Off to be cool for blocking outgoing traffic (apple etc.). So, for keeping my passwords save, I found the link below for Linux:
I've once ordered by phone but since, every year in fall, I get harassed. Really annonying calls from Romania. I've told them that I'll never buy again but they keep bothering me several times each fall... Also the quality is unknown when ordering by phone...never again.
Well, win8 is obsolete for me as not even my: QuickCam® Sphereâ„¢ MP works anymore. But I always use/dualboot it only when needed, since I lost all data back on Win98 through a virus. Also I happily await 8.1 as logout, those new tiles etc. are cr*. ( personal opinion )
256GB is not bad...I only have 16GB which is enough for a PC.
