My perfect man will be imperfect like me. There will be trust,comunication,honesty and respect.. and when he makes me mad and I tell him off, he is going to be able to listen. Then we can talk about it and come up with a solution togather.... Better yet, he can listen before I get mad and have to tell him off.
yes I do believe you. Had a dog just like that. Same name too. He went blind and deaf, before he died. I used to have to touch him on the back and that was the signal to go outside. Had to watch him tho, because he could get lost easily. Do you believe me?
Alcohol is a depressant, do not drink! Get yourself a pet. Something nice like a puppy or kitten. Why do you have to take care of your parents? There are programs for respite care.
I agree with lion. Rebound to me is someone who must always have a partner. Seek out some one who has just gotten out of a bad relationship. Yes, for friendship only. It is better to be able to talk about the past with someone who has been through the same "horror story" so to speak. I find it helps the healing.
I have been engaged once and married twice. As I reflect on my life, I can see a pattern on the men I pick. I am older now, and I hope a bit wiser. Communication is a must and alot of time. What other things has anyone done to break the pattern?
