Of course it is and, it should be upgraded. With cyber harassment & bullying becoming more & more pervalent, the legislation needed to be revised. We have kids in school committing suicide because of cyber bullying & we have women living in fear because of cyber stalking, but apparently that's ok because we cannot interfere with what is perceived as 'freedom of speech'.
The site is run by a pair of cranks, so it is possibly a load of bull. The article may be hyperbole, but I would like to see the original source. Confirmation from a more reliable source would be preferable at this point.
Why does there have to be a meaning, or purpose? After all, it is the individual that creates and forms these abstracts, but it doesn't mean a pre-ordained purpose actually exists. An infant isn't aware of meaning or purpose. A human that hypothetically leads a solitary existence may never formulate these abstracts.
