RE: Kindness

Good Morning Jeeepers

I like to randomly remind people that I am thinking of them. Just a simple text message on the phone.

Or even making someone laugh when they least expect it.

Times have changed

Nothing can replace the simplicity and purity of some messages, John... Thank you for sharing.

I finally got time to listen to this... The quality of the film is a bit iffy, but they look like they are really enjoying it and THAT really counts.

RE: The No Quote Thread...

hmmm... Do you want a list in point form what I think of you? ... or shall I just start with saying your English needs a little work, but your 'French' is remarkable ... wink

I hope you are having a lovely day with your sister.

RE: ALL Astrological signs Predictions for 2012

You don't make solid plans for anything??? Dang, my wall might really be devoid of art for some time to come.

I like the consistency of the prediction, finally ... World Peace.

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

So, I should step aside and allow you three minutes to recover?

By the way, thanks for the private audience... flirty

RE: I'm writing a book!

But they were a memorable three months! I used to love quoting excerpts from poems when I was 18... although these days, it's been too long since I read them as part of my daily literature. I would get lost in Kubla Khan... Emily Dickinson's writing... Chaucer ...

But I should pick the book up again, I am sure I would have more appreciation for it these days, John

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

giggle

I know I am going to hell for asking ...but which eye bothers you most?

RE: I'm writing a book!

I was hoping to learn a second language. But thank you for meeting my needs. smile

I haven't read "War and Peace" for years. I read that when I was 18... hmmm... It wasn't available in a toilet paper version though.

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

Let me be the judge of that! Throwing peanuts at you has a lot of appeal... laugh

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

By the way, JL... Are you just trying to impress me with your elephant?wink

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

RE: I'm writing a book!

I like the way you think! laugh Recyling is an issue in today's media, with environmental issues being part of our life. Although, I can imagine if you were sharing an abode with anyone, it could become an issue if the novel is ... long.

RE: I'm writing a book!

grin

Does it come with glossy pages?

RE: I'm writing a book!

Oh come on... you have evoked our interest. What DO we have to look forward to?

RE: I'm writing a book!

Literature to relieve men's prostrate problems?? giggle

Times have changed

I finally downloaded it when I had a nap , John. laugh This slow internet connection has bells on it. I napped after work... Christmas parties mid week are deadly to my sleep needs. laugh But... apparently... I can survive without sleep grin

Thank you for sharing the music. I love watching live music, but ... I must say I enjoy intimate venues rather than major concerts.

RE: I'm writing a book!

So, you are entering the Science fiction market? hmmm... Please feel free to drop a chapter in here... 'tis always somewhat intriguing to see what someone is writing.

RE: I'm writing a book!

May I ask what your book will be about?

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

Turning another corner...

The first stage show I took my daughter to was this ...

Obviously she loved it... almost as much as I did I believe. The stage show was brilliant. The music ... well in my opinion, it's brilliant.

RE: music you like....AGAIN... :-D

So your federal taxes pay for similar things as ours do... social security, health, education, defence, industry , government services, culture, infrastructure, transport, energy etc.

Obviously states also pay for infrastructure, but mostly that which is pertinent to their area... rail, bus , tram etc. Each state looking out for it's unique interests.

And within a shire, you pay land taxes etc.

Seems like it's a very similar set up... the difference being that in comparison to most countries... we are sparsely populated.

It seems we are back to the political motivations behind music again, John. smile
