Once when my first car broke down. For women never, they are disposable to me, i keep that in my mind and nothing happens when they take off, and they do it often.
That is why you chat with someone to create a picture of him/her and if you think is good you continue otherwise you move on. I believe he needed time to see who you are and he made his mind up now. It doesn't mean you are no good is just you are no good for that person.
