Should be another option such as "Other". My parents were married for 40 years when my father passed away due to a stroke in '99.
To this day my mother will not get involved with anyone else as she believes that she will see my father again in Heaven.

My parents were married until 2007 when my father passed away due to heart cancer. Mum still loves him till now, she says she won't be married to any other man. She keeps saying that my father is the most handsome and kind man in the world. :)

I can't see the point of 99% of the polls on here. Polls are supposed to have some kind of purpose like part of a study to gain a sense of direction or how to gauge possible outcomes like elections. I think polls should be eliminated because they stifle discussion in many cases.Does it really matter?

My parents separated when I was 14, then they both found new partners.
Mums partner was more of a father than my real one but unfortunately died and she's never tried again.
Father still going strong with his but we have lost contact due to her.

They were at my opinion happily divorced buy the time I was ten, that’s when my life started, but there were still a few set backs!
I could never understand and I still don’t understand why you would subject your kids too an abusive marriage? When my life with the EX became bad I left her in respect of the kid! So she would not have too go through what I had too endure through my childhood!
If you have a problem with someone then that’s your problem! don’t put it on your kids or ask anyone else to join in?
