Really AB I get your point, humans are capable of wonderous accomplishments, they are also capable of massive disasters.
My whole point is we need to put our money where are mouth is. Address issues that are effecting us presntly, as well as the future.
So so much money is spent in space exploration when just lately rain forest plants are being discovered that reverse cancer growth. These plants are very hard to find, but not to long ago there were not rare at all, but because of deforestation we are losing them! We have to invest in our own planet too!
To desperately seek out other planets because we have failed to learn about the one we are already inhabiting and ,for lack of a better word, DESTROYING.
You are being extremely optimistic by saying "all you need is water"
There are many other things to consider.
Yes 3 have an atmosphere
You need to consider the elements in the atmosphere
atomic weight/gravity
temps
most are volcanic/ or frozen...yes I realize this would be different if they had a new engery source
However, that being said...If life does begin there..it will not be "us". It will be a microscopic 1-2 celled organism with adapted variations nothing like our own. They way we started millions and millions of years ago.
Bob, you are truely an angel! I always knew that, but I think this is by far the sweetest thing anyone has done for me. You are such a talented writer. Every word of that poem tugged at my heart strings, mostly because it is how I feel as well. Bob, I am proud to say I am your adopted daughter! I love ya dad!!!
Chris, you never stop amazing me. You too are a blessing. Like your my other half...right down to love of "Mars Attacks", runny salsa, Yellowtail Shiraz, Aluminum, and many more...that makes sense only to us!
Wow!
Ladies....Gentlemen DO EXIST!!!!! Here are two fine examples!
RE: For anyone out there interested in Astronomy.
What do you think of our current mission of exploring Pluto and its moons?
