No, I never tried it myself, but once you have a perfume you like it's hard to change. I sometimes got perfume as a present, and it's appreciated, but it just never was as nice as my own...
I have a bit of the same problem getting my perfume, it's not available in Ireland so I can only get it when I'm on holidays on the continent and I have to stock up in time.
I love Joop's Le Bain perfume and LouLou is nice, too
I have to be careful with perfume in body lotions, but I think the fruity cacao butter lotions like strawberry are nice (do you have body shops in your neck of the woods? )
Rumour says that we have summer over here, so I'm showing off my painted toe nails if it's not too cold and wet...
As in different countries / getting on a plane or more than 3 hours drive? (we had this discussion on the Irish forums recently)
In general you have to be able to spend time with a person, so meeting someone once or twice a year for a holiday isn't really a test. I would want to be able to meet someone regularly, even if it's only on the weekends, anything else would defeat the purpose of a relationship for me.
For me personally, I'm getting 6 to 8 times a year on a plane to visit my family and couldn't be bothered to do any more flying.
That's my 2 cents worth, best of luck to everyone who would want to make it work long distance!
I just found 2 articles in the FAZ and translated them. They actually have conflicting reports. See below:
The massacre of Hula is a turning point in the Syrian conflict. The western public accused, supported by UN-observer, the Syrian army. This version can be questioned because of eye witness reports. From that the civilians were killed by Sunnites revolters.
TD Sevim Dagdelen critised that the German Government repeats on the one hand the view of an international investigate commission that militia close to the Syrian president are responsible for the biggest part of the victims. On the other hand when ask after details about the circumstances of the massacre they said they don’t have resilient information.
In the view of the German Government the primary thread to the civil population is through the continued military violence of the Syrian regime. The BND got notice about the massacre of Hula several times between 5th to 15th June.
Aachen has a stadium for show jumping only and the only stadium in the world for Dressage only. They have over 360.000 people watching the week of show jumping there. The riders usually vote it as the best venue in the world. Winning Aachen is like winning Wimbledon.
The whole city is involved, everyone goes, lots of local people who don't ride would go there and it's a social thing, too, with bands playing every night.
Doping is a problem everywhere where money is involved. The problem with horses for me is, if a human sportler decides to dope himself up to the eyeballs, it's his problem, a horse doesn't have the choice. It's not a tool like a bike but a living creature. I ride horses myself but no competitions, purely as a hobby and I grew up going to the show jumping in Aachen (best show jumping and dressage competition in the world) and love watching it, but the top sport horses have a short shelf live...
He wasn't banned from what I heard because they can't prove he used Capsaicin (made from chili) and the horse could have been injured, but he and 4 others were caught in Hong Kong using that stuff and at this stage he was caught more than once.
Denis Lynchs horse was disqualified at the CHIO in Aachen because of ultra sensitive legs. The vets copped it after the Nations cup and he was supposed to show the horse to the vets the next morning but he didn't. It is possible that the legs are sensitive because they hurt them at an earlier stage but foul play is suspected because Denis Lynch was caught before, he was disqualified in Hong Kong because he used Capsaicin and in Rio another horse was caught with ultra sensitive legs.
