I just don't understand why all these so called investigative reporters aren't out digging up the facts/history of BHO. It would seem they all have decided to give him a pass.
He out did the Clinton machine seeking the nomination from his party.
He has 50% of this country fooled into thinking he'd be a good POTUS.
He has managed, with the help of the press, to hide so much of his personal information/history from the general public that we really don't know who or what he is other than not qualified.
One theory I read was that with some 80% of us taxpayers against the bailout the voting members with a tough re-election facing them this year decided to listen to us and voted nay. What a concept, listen to the people you represent.
Looked like the Dow fell over 600 there for a minute.
I really don't see why we, the taxpayer, should provide welfare for the wealthy. My savings are history like so many and yet the government wants to spend us into a deeper hole.

The image of Obama that the press has presented to the public is not a fair approximation of the real man. They consciously have ignored whole years of his life and have shown a lack of curiosity about such gaps, which bespeaks a lack of journalistic instinct.
The major media simply have not reported on Obama's two years at New York's Columbia University, where, among other things, he lived a mere quarter-mile from former terrorist Bill Ayers. Later, they both ended up as neighbors and associates in Chicago. Obama denies more than a passing relationship with Ayers. Should the media be curious? In only two weeks, the media have focused on all the colleges Gov. Palin has attended, her husband's driving habits 20 years ago, and the close criticism of the political opponents Gov. Palin had when she was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.
Nor have the media paid any serious attention to Obama's rise in Chicago politics. How did honest Obama rise in the famously sordid Chicago political machine with the full support of Boss Daley? Despite the great -- and unflattering -- details on Obama's Chicago years presented in David Freddoso's new book on Obama, the mainstream media continue to ignore both the facts and the book. It took a British publication, The Economist, to give Freddoso's book a review with fair comment. **************************************************

That Bill as written would give a GI 4 full years of college after only 3 years of service. All we would have would be a military full of people with less than 3 years experience. I think he wanted to extend the requirement to serve 5 years for a full 4 years of college. Makes sense to me.
I've been wondering that for the last few elections. Best I can figure is we get what we deserve.
To me it seems that the people who would do a good job as POTUS are too smart to want the job. Look at all the hoops you have to jump thru to get each faction of supporters on board. Then you got the relentless pinheads in the press constantly badgering you. We need to do away with the Electoral College and go popular vote. Then put term limits on Congress to get this country back on track.
Yeah, and they seem to be moving farther from the center daily. I cannot believe some of the things said on the ABC, CBS, NBC National Newscasts. I don't get FOX News so I cannot comment on them. They no longer try to hide their bias for BHO - he is the ONE. And they run every negative story about McCain possible.
We need change alright. How about a balanced news source.
Even though the average man on the street is against this bailout Congress knows what is best for us and will commit billions of our money to save the jobs of their wealthiest contributors.
Hold on a second. You are saying that I am not entitled to have an opinion on something posted on this site? Sorry to disagree but I live in the USA and will speak my mind when I feel like it. I am sure there are lots of people who do not share my views but that's their problem.
