Well, I guess we'll hear about this in the news for another week as they redesign the wording.
It's always those pesky rider bills & loopholes that do it to us every time.

Last I heard they were grappling over the LACK of governing language regarding giving the Secretary of Treasure so much power and no accountability. I'm GLAD they won't accept that as is... that's really scary. But perhaps that's the only reason the bill is held up? I guess we have to wait and see.

Looked like the Dow fell over 600 there for a minute.

I really don't see why we, the taxpayer, should provide welfare for the wealthy. My savings are history like so many and yet the government wants to spend us into a deeper hole.

dunno

Hear! Hear!

right -and luckily the house has not fallen for Bushs mismangement this time!!! Leave it to the next admninistration to sort it out! they certainly cant do any worse!!

Let the markets fall and the banks bail themselves out - it will all balance in time!
and as for B & B - true, it should not have been bailed either as it is now basically cannon fodder for the bigger banks now!!!

a free meal

cheers

The complacency has turned to calamity.

The deck of cards are tumbling.

I just may be the next statistic from this stupid mess, and all from a custody battle , not mismanagement of funds years ago. Seventy thousand dollar, battle that I won,,,,, I may loose my home,,, because the government in which we live in says &*$(#(*#()@)($)(@@&$@&%,

I just heard from the lawyer we share our office with as she was running to her office to sell off all her stocks. I don't know what to think about all this, but it really makes me nervous.
