Just a question... what about falling for the IDEA of having someone in your life..... before you've ever met them in person.... ??? I think alot of people do that.... They fall in "LOVE" with the idea of that person....
Personally, I have to spend time face-to-face with someone before love... I have to be able to look into that person's eyes... feel their touch.... We can talk forever and a day, and never meet, but then I'd be basing the relationship on what is being told to me... not what I experience daily... face-to-face with that person.
I can develop feelings that I want to know more about that person...look forward to talking with them each day... which would then prompt me to make a meeting happen... so I can find out....for sure... where these feelings will take us... Love without meeting in person... or EVER meeting in person??? Not for me... Just my fitty cents worth...
The topic here is GOD not religion... 2 different things...
A Religion is just the way in which people choose to worship the being or beliefs they believe in .... God is also different to different people too... Some do not believe in GOD at all.. some wonder ... ergo the term agnostic.... some people believe in Angels.. or just a higher 'plain'... some believe in the theory of evolution..... Either way you look at it... we're all living beings and whatever you believe is totally your choice and right to believe, as long as you don't try to force it upon someone else or harm people in having your 'beliefs' heard...
To me it's a very personal issue, and my right to keep that personal... It's also everyone else's right on here to have their beliefs and not only do I respect their right to their beliefs, I have gotten many great viewpoints that I'd never considered before just reading this thread.
I do have one guy from here in Nova Scotia.. who kept emailin' me and he began to get on my nerves..... His emails and 'flowers' were always way too personal... I never would answer him, or acknowledge him, and finally, I blocked him...
You'd think someone would get the hint... would you not?
I've gotten only one scary 'email'.. that was this morning from some guy in the country of Turkey... whose email basically said... I want to talk to you, I like your profile, give me your email and if you have msn or yahoo give me your address so I can talk to you... Please send it now.
