it was just witnessed recently-new couple, one unemployed perpetually
sometimes when a partner is the one making the money they feel they are in control of the relationship, or their life even tho they may complain to others they unknowingly gain something from the arrangement
we can judge but people have to see their own motives and usually dont until there is hindsight available
i did it once in a four year relationship with a younger guy didnt see it til about a year after it was over with the help of a dear friend who had the knowledge to wait
i guess we are all here for different things but whats perplexing is many many threads are phrased as questions and yet one must be careful of answering for fear of being tarred and feather
now like every wonderful opportunity there are those who take advantage for spying sell stuff or to pass viruses-just to see if they can?
i dunno people say its ok and justify why certain d/l is ok but these same people are enraged that in the past many great artists ended up with nothing in the end and died in poverty...
was that their responsibility for signing the contracts? well, to a great degree those initially were the only contracts available- until THE PUBLIC became involved and said hey-we will buy this-its good then artists were able to make demands-they figgered out they were a commodity
so either its ok for them to get paid as a direct result of their gifts or its not
we cant have it both ways we dont know what kind of contracts record companies hold on each artist-...
they make a product they deserve to be paid- all of them
im a firm believer in if you want somethin different do somethin different
same thing: if nothing changes nothing changes
however it is ME in large part who clearly has been mistaken
i cannot tell you how many times i have dated someone and in the last 5 minutes of the relationship the mask comes off and its the same guy one more time!
