My suggestion is to visit first. Making the leap to live in another region takes lots of planning...If you don't do so, things will end, and badly...JMO...

You have nothing to base your feelings on other than your feelings. I won't appeal to your emotions, nor will I try to assuage your fears. You have your opinions, and you're entitled to them. But people with such strong opinions that wont change no matter what are why this country is so divided.
