RE: Would you rather?

"30 c" (although I basically live from one to the other throughout the year.

====================================================================

Would you rather date someone that is at least 10 years close to your age or only someone that is younger than you?

RE: Would you rather?

hmm, tough one. I would probably opt out for Ireland and I could kick in some kind of penalty fee? ok, I will go with "Columbia".

Would you rather live alone for the next 100 years alone or live for the next 25 years with a companion that you seemed to get along with no matter what?

RE: Would you rather?

probably the 20 year younger.

Would you rather know the exact time and way you would die or would you rather that it was only known by the government officials in your official homeland?

I decided I should cut some excess weight while the weather is nice. ;-}

Aw, it was more of just a surprise. I think that was about 2 years ago I had posted the "thread". I think wherever I am now is just because of my lifestyle. No real "goals" as far as "weight". But it was kind of a nice surprise. I don't really get on here so much these days...too many "projects" that keep me busy. But always nice to see you are doing well.

I found this thread I made a few years ago. If I had not read it myself I would not have really been so quick to believe I was at "185" back then. Still not at the "Optimum" weight, but at "162" I am pretty close. That "185" must have been a typo! LOL. Funny how time flies.

RE: The evolution of CS...

Not that I actually think there is anything to it but since it is possible that some people that may have been here for both long and short periods of times I thought to mention a curious Movie. It is called "Frequencies", it is fictional. It has a interesting story-line though, and I suppose because I am fascinated with sound synthesis and I have studied the way different sounds seem to effect, or possibly are attracted by certain people that this little film caught my attention. It does have to do with "attraction", or lack of, between people. Anyway, you may have watched it.....but if not you may decide to watch it just the same. Most likely just as the theme goes, some will enjoy it and some will think it is a waste of time, others won't watch it at all. ;-}

RE: The evolution of CS...

"Stale Scammers"? LOL.. never heard that one. Yeah, being here for that long I met a few really what I thought were promising relationships. I wish they would have been more than what they were but on the other hand maybe it was better off that they were not. I am happy in my home and pretty busy these days. I sometimes wish I could of had a child but even that you just never know for sure what the future will bring. I think the best you can do is keep it all together and if a opportunity arrives you may just be able to build on that and I still believe there are others out there that still would like a healthy mutually loving relationship free of excess drama and actually work together towards some common goals....like maybe swimming out to the reef together or even making the front yard just a little nicer than the year before. ;-}

RE: The evolution of CS...

Though I started out with a different username when I first joined it is kinda hard to believe that it is coming up on almost 10 years since I first joined this group. I actually met a few people and even ended up getting Married though it was short-lived. During that time the two of us took about 6-8 months off. Yeah,..I can easily see a pretty big change. I guess you could call it an "Evolution" Some might call it "Devolution"! But I also suppose that would be a matter of opinion. lol > maybe it has done both. And that is what I would tend to believe. Even though there has been ups and downs and some long waves of deserted sand-glass hours I would still say that this has probably been the preferable site. hard to really say.
Anyways, Cheers!

30 Days in the Hole.

That is great to hear! I kind that was the case but wasn't sure. Yeah, just places to go there you could spend a couple lifetimes I bet.
Thanks for the update!

30 Days in the Hole.

Thanks "Rebel", Glad to see you as well! Tell me, How is life in Spain these days? I have not been there since 1989!, But from what I remember it was a great place to be. As large as it is I only was able to go to major cities like Madrid (bought a Classical Guitar there in the Opera district, I nearly didn't get back to the group as I had got myself lost on the Metro. But I backtracked and everything was ok. I was in Toledo for a tour of artwork and other great works located in the Basilicas. Another "Walled" city Ávila was very new, but obviously very old...only new to me. Yes, I enjoyed the little time I spent there. Just writing about it makes me want to go back. I remember back then the costs were not so terribly high like France and Switzerland back then. Very different than over here for sure!

RE: Do Cyber relationships work

LOL, I think that might be best discussed by the "two" in venture. Also I would imagine that it could depend on circumstances. For instance I would not expect someone to pay for "My" flat while "visiting". But I suppose there are many ideals and exceptions in this big ole world of our. And for instance when I stayed in the Philippines back in 2007 I believe it was. In that stay it was agreed that I would live on the same "Compound" as the entire family. Now, over there this meant 13 families all living on a "walled" "Guarded" Compound. I stayed on one side of the Compound with the "Aunt" of the woman I was seeing. Because of security and my own safety they felt this was the smartest option. As far as money went I could not even get them to let me prepare a meal for myself let alone the family in that home as their Culture did not permit it. However I found they were very excited about my ability to cut and style their "Hair", in fact it seems I was so much in demand that I had to limit my time at one point so the "two" of us could spend time together. And even though the Compound was very large, 13 beautiful Homes, a large pool, Clay Tennis Court...you get the idea...and yet still "privacy" was a very rare thing. We had to finally fly to "Boracay" to get some "alone" time. It was a very enlightening adventure indeed. It was just before I joined CS.. I think it was around 2007-2008..something like that. Oh! the exact time that the airlines had the white powder scare and all over the world they limited/prohibited all passengers to carrying liquids because of a incident in London I think it was.
So, many answers to that one "Tru"

RE: Do Cyber relationships work

Here is one "Tip" that can actually really help, not only you but also your new Love. Of course this is more for a situation in which "you" would be traveling to where she lives, but I suppose a variation could easily be made in other scenarios. But the "Tip" is for you to make sure you arrange a "Flat" or "hotel" that you can stay at. It takes a lot of pressure off the both of you and especially in the beginning that can make a big difference. I have tried both ways. (staying with the other person) and also just getting my own flat. It may be a bit costly especially in where you are traveling to but if it is doable I have found this to be a important factor. So much that I can say that even in my past situations things may have had a much smoother and actually more enjoyable time. Other than that I would suggest in staying for a few months if you can. Not everyone can do that but I think this combination will give you a better insight and allow for some very good times while you are there and in the future. I hope this helps a bit...At least it might possibly spark some ideas as well.
Sincerely,
Dragos.

RE: Do Cyber relationships work

Good advice! Though I am single for some time, I have had some very memorable times from relations that were sparked from right here on CS and another site that I was on before I heard of this one. (long ago) > to Tom, follow your Heart and be patient. You may just find that you are in for a very great future. (but as mentioned, get out and have that meet up sometime soon if possible)

30 Days in the Hole.

Yes, I sat with Trish and we had a few drinks. That was when I had the pretty long dark Hair and was always wearing the 10 kilo long leather jacket...I remember a stranger asking Trish if I was "Gene Simmoms" from Kiss. Of course she had no idea who that was but we had a great laugh about it. Oslo was there and so was Dandelion and so many more. Wow, that was a fun time indeed. And of Course Dear "Lola", the reason I went to Ireland in the first place. Can't remember if the meet was the first or second visits but I know it was one of them. I know there are still a bunch of pics on a get together thread from way back. Yes! doing well, hope you are as well.

It is always a pleasure to chat with you Berry. Yes, I think many people seemed to admire him or appreciate his music at different points of his timeline. Since he was older than myself I only heard certain songs in my earlier years but as time went on I was very impressed with his ability to move into different types of music and styles. I think that "Chameleon" side of him I very much related too. Will always miss that guy.

eThanks Aragorn!

Please tell me, (it has been so long), were you there in Dublin at the CS Meet so many years back when I was visiting? Really had a great time! Got a bit snockered as well. lol. Never a hangover, not once....even when Peter and I (not on cs) polished off a Liter of Vodka and of course "sampled" the wine each time we brought a new bottle for the lovely ladies! LOL.

RE: Inappropriate Pat-down or What?...What say you?

I here that. I can't say why... but Hillary seems to scare me in a very unsettling way. The day we have our "first" Woman President I would hope this would be reserved for a woman we can remember in a very great way, not someone that carries so much (ill-gotten) baggage and may very well make me have bad dreams if elected.
uh oh

30 Days in the Hole.

Ah yes! I have admored the "late" Mr. Bowie since very young. (obviously) but I always am happy to see that others enjoy his artwork.

another one I like >

(by the way as "Bowie" often hired musicians to play with him and his name was the main "event" it seems like so many of the great musicians are not always mentioned. For instance the bass Player here has a fantastic voice and has been with him..Was" with him for a lot of songs.)

Ok, So this next one is also Hero's..LOL..this is too funny. what the heck eh? Ok, so this one I think it even the same performance but he stops and talks a bit before the song. It is just interesting because I think he became so comfortable with his audience over so many years that they were literally just like people we would meet up close the way he seems anyway...

just listen to the first part..it is pretty funny indeed. and he is a real person after all with a damn good sense of humour...and maybe even a bit elated. lol

RE: Trump wont last til the November election

It looks to me like a no win scenario. I still don't like the idea of Hillary becoming the first Woman President. I think that in itself is a sad thought in itself. I don't like that she is already connected to so many powers that she does not even have to be responsible for her own actions. The other thing is not very scientific but it gives me a very bad feeling in my gut. As far as Trump goes I don't care for any candidate that starts screaming and ranting. I remember when McCain started to get all fired up and it was not to his benefit. I think there may be one thing that would happen if Trump were to get in there, and that is he would have to take on a new rule-set. I think they all do to some degree, but those that are connected I have no doubt have the knowledge how to manipulate the position because of their prior experience. So between these two I do not think it is the end of the world, but I don't look forward with much optimism with either. I would like to be pleasantly surprised, but I just don't see it.

RE: do you like your hair style?

I am not familiar with your "Peruvian hair doll" but you have a great head of hair! You are very fortunate. (and very beautiful as well).

;-}

RE: do you like your hair style?

I have a friend (and client) that made what was a pretty big decision for her and I gave her a much shorter cut and style that she was genuinely nervous about even after the decision was made. If you could have seen her reaction after I was done with the drying and finishing of her new look you would have jumped back. Even I was pleasantly surprised with her acceptance but a bit taken with her outburst and such elated reaction. That evening she insisted I come to their house (after paying me almost twice what I charge) and made a nice barbecue with fantastic desert. After I got home that evening I saw that she had posted a picture on her FB and though it had been about 2-3 hours since she had posted it there was so many "likes" and comments of surprised relatives and friends, all so unsuspecting that she would cut the long hair off and how great it looks! I saw her today with her husband who came along to watch as we gave her another cut and style (same cut). You know, it is very satisfying to have clients get so happy and feel so revived and happy after I give them a new style. I have always been very focused on detail and helping to educate them so they can get the same look when they go home and style it each day. If I was in your area I would like very much to give you that "Hairstyle" and maybe share some refreshments Berry. I am sure that you have a great Hairstylist and will feel good to visit them soon!
