Thank You Lindey for the kind words and a reminder that there is a warm weather out there somewhere. lol. You know. I had written this and heard something outside and thought "wait a minute" So I ran out to see if maybe there was snow falling down. But it is just a sloppy big drops of rain. Prawns sure sound tasty. I made a nice garlic dip out of different soft cheeses, white yogurt and fresh cloves of garlic. smashed and minced. Very tart! I have my kitty "Papi" we will watch the rain. LOL. big Merry Christmas wishes.
For those that do Celebrate it, what will it be like this year? Or maybe you celebrate it on the Eve of Christmas. There was a time long ago that I remember so many family members and Christmas Eve was a crowded house with my Stepfathers mother and her sisters, my Cousins from that side and a huge dinner with presents and exploring the places we were not supposed to go. And then the Christmas Morning with the huge tree and all the presents there as well. So much going on and a very magical feeling about everything. Later going to my Grandfathers' house where my other cousins would drive down from Albany and again all the great times spent. But now this is not the way at all, I have no child and I have no Family like that. The last few years it has been more quiet each year. It seems almost like I lost my chance about 5 years ago and now I think this Christmas is more of distant memory. But I am happy that I am alive and who knows, maybe there is another chapter that will bring new good memories as well...but enough of that. I started this to ask about you. What is it like for you this year? Any traditions? Anyone that goes out and cuts there tree and decorates the town? What is a traditional family Christmas around the world? Just because I am in the USA I am not directing this towards any particular place...anywhere in the world. And please, this is not a place meant for any conflicts. There are enough of those in the rest of the year. I know that everyone has different ideas. I just spend all my time alone these days and thought maybe some people might share some cool or interesting traditions. All the Best~

very many times over the years I see something like woman is 5 foot seeking man minimum 6 foot 6 inches. And even more of a split going to the more extreme. It is just that people have ideas or a criteria they wish to find. Same in age. Sometimes one year off and you can not even contact them. Just that way. lol
yeah, it is basically the dictionary used to understand what they were saying when you read the book..(or watch the movie) of course watching a movie is different in that you are watching the screen. I haven't even thought of this show till you mentioned it in a long time. I looked up a few things and it said that out of 10 most violent and disturbing movies they had it rated at #1. They said they were leaving out a lot of movies that were just plain made to gross you out or make you ill. I also did not know that this movie (A Clockwork Orange) had been removed from circulation at one point >Quote

Even as I mentioned above where young kids back in the punk days would sometimes act out this violence and parts from the show on the streets of Portland and probably many places around the world.
I wonder how it is perceived today. "A Clockwork Orange" Published in 1962 was on the screen in 1971. It would be considered adult content. It is full of many basic ideals but the way it was all orchestrated I suppose us punkers thought it was quite entertaining even though we may not have truly wished to be those characters we had a modified adaptation of them in our very young days. I still have my paperback copy. Yes, it is an Orange cover indeed. Contains Spoilers and graphic content...but then this is Stanely Kubrick's movie.

Well, You are welcome to do whatever you wish. I think there are more to some people than the stereotype. But then again many people still see only the sky when it is blue. There are many more things to learn and see. It is like going into a club or some bar and announce. "I do not belong here and do not like the food. But look at my wares" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-|

To be honest I could have said "for the guys" but I figured that would upset a few people. Turns out that people (plenty) like to find something wrong with things no matter what.
I wish you could spend time with your Mum. I would not mind spending some time with mine as well. But it is not the case.
