Yes, and it can help so as not to repeat the same possible mistake...But also we have to look clearly at the present situation as sometimes things can be slightly different, especially people. ;-}
We have so much rains right now that many are flooded out of their homes where they were built near the waterways, (Johnson Creek) and others. I wish I was closer and I would help fix the leaks Serena. I have a lot of practice in fixing stuff. I hope you are warm and dry soon!
Though you stood "alone" in fact as you see from other's comments that there are many of us that felt that same isolation. It was tough back then but as an adult I wonder if it is even more challenging as a Adult. At the end of the day I find that I am still the outsider. I can only say that in my life there were some times that I will remember when I was not so alone. I hope one day I will experience that once again. (reminds me of "The Elephant Man")
Same here Serena, I have some pretty good sized ones on my back (which I never see) and one on of along dragon on my fore arm and so on. Piercings from long ago. But all were done to my personal choice. By todays standards I suppose I don't really have so many.
Here is one that is admittedly 5 minutes. (kinda long), but as I watched there are quite a few good funny things captured on video. It made me think how when we are very small and young that we do some silly things and as we grow older some continue without some of the foresight that others might use but either way here is another.
I did not oppose it, I even have clients that tell me that they use it for medicinal and some for fun. But seriously since they legalized it in such a large way...well, let's just say I have truly noticed a lot of changes that really surprised me in all ages and sometimes I have noticed that some people are going to have to figure out their limitations. Hopefully it will even after the new freedom that people have to use it more easily. I think one thing I have noticed the most is when it is obvious that they are too stoned to be driving. That is when I either try to keep my distance or even just take another route. New World we live in.
Yubba? I don't understand why you are so down on this person. I mean at least give him the benefit of the doubt. It is not like he is asking you to give him any money and just because he posted it in the blogs as well does not mean it is not true. I know for me it was one that I had a lot more time and money vested into the relationship, not to mention my emotions. I did not get over it for a very long time. You know, things happen out there in the world and it is not always the way that we see things from each of our own eyes.
A lot happened this year, but I can say that there is a chance for some very good opportunities in the near future. One of my biggest challenges is that I have no real people still alive or close these days but this is something that can happen over time. I hope life has been treating you very well. I hope we get a chance to chat more in the future. Maybe on one of the other interesting threads
In most places (just one example) cigarettes have become a serious evil (even though they are legal) but for instance here in Oregon it is PC and quite legal to grow and smoke your own marijuana or go to these places where you can light up and get high for medical and just recently recreational reasons. So because it is PC now I see people more and more acting quite different on the road and even pedestrians that are so up in smoke that they just float across the streets as the cars go zooming by. "Political Correctness" just goes to show that just about Anything is acceptable once it is PC. "ANYTHING", Kinda creepy when you look back at what has been acceptable in the past and all the new things we can dream up for the present day and future.
I am not really surprised but I am also not very confident in what Hillary represents or the things she could get us into from where we already are. I think the fact that we are seeing these candidates that are in the spotlight just shows how low our expectations have become and how much we have been deceived and absolutely gullible as a people under this nations shadow. We pass laws but they are not really enforced or even just blatantly the ones with power turn a blind eye and do the opposite. And it has gone so far that I see it in the workplace, in the schools, even in places like hospitals where you might think that you would be cared for yet people in positions of what you might call with moral duty are lying right to the face of the ones that either need medical attention or clerks laughing in your face because they are so embarrassed and don't even have the basic understanding of what they are being paid to do. It is very real, and the pendulum has swung almost fully to the other extreme. (I know we spoke of this a few years back) LOL....even that is a bit frightening because these things are just chugging right along. Always good to see you Conrad.
Sorry I have not taken the time to welcome you back. I have been pretty busy with a lot of things this last week..not all bad but definitely taxing it seems. It is nice to see more of the members from the "before" time! LOL. ;-}

You my never really know. Too bad you can't return the tickets or sell them..you might just go and take a break...you may even meet someone else. But for what it is worth the same thing can happen even after talking to someone for a year or even having met her once and then "poof" no one talking to you. It happened to me more than once and I never really made much sense of it. I think that is why most people here tend to just get involved in politics and other things that keep each other at bay. LOL...there are exceptions but the numbers are not that incredible. Just do what you can handle and I guess grow a thick skin so you won't feel anything when you get duped. Good luck out there!
Aww Chris, not a Utopia. and not even the perfect citizen. But "YES" a person and persons that begin to take a bit of responsibility and act with a conscientious mind. And if you think we are all doomed to Hell than you may find it is where you are in your own mind. If you are in this blissful state yet you believe everyone else is in the living hell than yeah, you are still just getting a bit out there. But unlike what you have mentioned, I even have a bit of reason to think that maybe you could see things in a better light. maybe you just need to get a date or maybe that is a common factor on this forum. LOL. DOn't think too much. no need to.
Well, yes and no. I do understand that these monumental attacks do get people up in arms. (no pun intended) and no, I would rather not see a big western style shoot out. But I do think many people have just given up and given in to the idea so they have become submissive to being helpless. even if someone owns a gun they must have that understanding of responsibility. If they don't then one way or another they will lose possession of it.
It would not make a big difference. Especially in the place this happened. Laws are only going to work if they can be enforced. Even this very minute there are crimes being committed all over the world and a law being bent, broken and twisted. I think what we truly need is for people to take responsibility of their actions and to use the conscious that they seem to have lost. At the same time I understand your response. I just don't think it would make the difference. In the USA it has become a common practice to break the laws until they are literally "broken", "Broken" as in they just do not work anymore. I know that these talks always get out of hand but I really do think that this entire world needs to really start taking responsibility for what it does. I don't know how, but if it does not than we will see more and more of these things and probably more as time marches on.
