Gents...what's your normal routine for looking after yourself?

Ladies, what do you expect from a man in terms of his grooming?

I've just showered...but before I showered, I trimmed my beard(more grey hairs comin' through), and the hair in my ears( ), AND my nasal hair( )...then I used a facial scrub to remove all those nasty dead skin cells. I quite like my lil routine...although it pains me to have to tackle the ear hair...friggin' heck, I'm only 33!

Surely you can't feel THAT deeply for somebody you've never met though? Exchanging e-mails...fine, perhaps chatting over the phone...cool, I'd feel a certain warmth towards a person myself. But as for them being 'the one'...or that special 'someone'...how on earth could you tell without meeting them?

Maybe it's just me...I've learned to keep my feelings in check a little more...to be circumspect when it comes to dishing out sweet nothings and terms of endearments. And hell, I'd think more of the other person if she was the same...I mean I wouldn't wanna be told I'm special and loved and adored by a woman and she hasn't even met and spent any time with me!

I tried to assess each personality as best I could in order to determine the motives behind what was being said. Then I went with my own instincts, and treated them both with a little caution until it all became clearer to me.

In both cases, I was glad of the attempts...I'd rather be forewarned and be able to protect myself. And more importantly, I didn't judge either of the parties involved...just gave them all time to display their personalities.

Ok...cynic...me? No way baby...just a realist who has learned that I just can't operate on that level...no matter how much I'd like to. I just need more.

Cynicism is nasty...and I really hope I don't come across as such...but please feel free to put me right if I do.

No I bloody wouldn't...no way. I don't expect to be able to generate enough of an attatchment to somebody from simply exchanging e-mails and bantering on these forums. Nope, meetings would have to take place...voices heard...coffee slurped!
