...dating women who expect the bills to be payed for. Tacky is the women who want to go on holiday...and for the man to suggest he'll pay for it...or she just hints and hints. Tacky is when you go to a bar or pub and the lady sits there with you and never once gets a round in.
I refuse to date now...and if I do go out somewhere with a girl, I'm extremely careful to observe just how 'tight' she is financially.
Two...OK Cupid and here. OK Cupid profile was dormant for weeks...'till a stunning Texan maiden contacted me...friggin' pleased I forgot about it and didn't delete it!
And who by fire, who by water, who in the sunshine, who in the night time, who by high ordeal, who by common trial, who in your merry merry month of may, who by very slow decay, and who shall I say is calling?
And who in her lonely slip, who by barbiturate, who in these realms of love, who by something blunt, and who by avalanche, who by powder, who for his greed, who for his hunger, and who shall I say is calling?
And who by brave assent, who by accident, who in solitude, who in this mirror, who by his lady's command, who by his own hand, who in mortal chains, who in power, and who shall I say is calling
You are right of course, but think of it this way...the Muslim fanatics who are waging jihad can only create a climate of fear if WE allow them. Much of it is blown out of all proportion...kind of fear-mongering. I'm not for one minute saying we shouldn't be aware of the threats present, but we should also be rational in balancing these with the need to live our lives normally and not be suspicious of ALL Muslims.
After all, Muslims themselves don't see these fanatics as true Muslims...thankfully.
I understand what you say. All I was suggesting was on the most basic level, we don't judge one another.
As for your comments on the Muslim faith, there are sections of the Koran that could be considered militant, but there are also many good facets to their beliefs. Some will focus on the militant - hence 9/11, but I know many peace-loving Muslims also, so balance is needed.
Let's face it, when you look at what Christian nations have inflicted on the world, it's much worse.
RE: Tacky is...
