Steve Martin is soooo funny. 'The Man With Two Brains' is one of my favourite comedies. He was also great, with Eddie Murphy(who was fabulous) in 'Bowfinger'...freakin' hillarious film.
I would be very cautious about developing strong emotional ties with a person a long way away. It can lead to frustration and irrational decision making.
It can work, but takes immense discipline and honesty from both parties...as well as realism.
Do you feel comfortable having multiple dating partners, or do you just limit yourself to one person and if that doesn't work, then move on and date the next one?
Dating in England is generally considered a monogamous pursuit, but I think the American system may have some merits - not that I've tried multiple dating yet.
