I am sooo sorry you are so lonely. Let me see if maybe I can help you feel better about being single. Well...you don't have to share the remote control; you don't have to wash undies with "racing stripes"; you can eat cereal for dinner if you don't want to cook; you can do what you want when you want to; you don't have to be quiet when someone else is sleeping in your bed; you can turn the light on in your room without having to worry about waking someone else up; you don't have to wipe toothpaste off of the sink and mirror; you can spend your money how you want without anyone fussing at you; you don't have to worry about when you get up or go to bed; your car stays clean; you don't have to pick up after anyone else; and last but certainly not least...You can feel good about being able to take care of things without needing someone else to do them for you. Not sure if I helped any, but hopefully I gave you a chuckle or grin somewhere in there.
Yes Sir I did...right across from my house to be exact. And to top it off...my cellar, which is in the garage, had water in the damn thing! Not a good thing...
Did ya ever think that maybe...just maybe, Happy is a conscience choice we make, or do not make, for ourselves? I believe that it is. I was pondering this today while working...and then it popped back in my head while I was trying to go to sleep.
Life really is what we choose to make it, imho. Ok, ok so we may not have found the One, and may never find the One...and we may not have, or ever have, everything we want, but honestly, I think it's ok.
Cuz' if we make a list of all the Positives in our life, and there are many...one just has to open their eyes, and Heart, to see them ...I am sure we would find that the Positives greatly out weigh the Negatives.
The negatives... are they really so great and so life and/or time consuming that we should afford them the Power to steal from us the precious hours and minutes we are given? Will our life cease to be, and/or will we die if we do not have everything we think we deserve or strive for or want? I think not! Of course, I am certain there are those that would disagree with me...and that's fine. To each their own.
I choose Happy...regardless of what comes and/or goes. Love yourself enough to Live your life.
This is something that I am still learning to do...and sometimes I need to be reminded of my Choice for Happy. And when I am reminded...I look around myself and I see that what I have been so graciously given...is Enough.
RE: What are you doing at the moment
Reading the Forums and thinking I should go to sleep...long work day tomorrow.
