What truly turns you off - Part 2

Those who's opinions are shallow.

RE: France abusing (child)migrants.

Absolutely Snow. I am not against anyone immigrating to other country, but do it legally.

Period.

RE: France abusing (child)migrants.

I've been to more than 40 countries and all the Middle East, Arab peninsula ...
And again you try to put on me your own perception of me...
Making someone look bad doesn't make you look good...
Immigration procedures and laws are not made to accept everyone who wants to change location... If you try to cross the border of any country you will be arrested and put in prison...not welcomed with milk and honey... Many of the immigrants pay ridiculous amount of money to be taken through the borders... And many of them have cash available to lead a good life, expensive phone and so on... That isn't a person in great need...and they should not be treated differently from any other person who breaks the law...
The immigration business, yes, that's a good business is more to what you see and know...
Anyway, one sided vision and repeating of the same isn't constructive debate...
I am out of here...[/quote

Krema, I am with you on your belief with illegal immigration. I can see the frustration when people are bent to accept that our countries should be invaded by illegal immigrants.

Very true. Imagine your cigarette prize is three times more expensive than here.

But minimum wage is twice higher than in the US.

I love Queensland, stayed in Cairns for a month and Port Douglas as well as in Daintree.

I regret not having snorkled in the Great Barrier Reef. But I will go back.

Most beautiful place in my heart. Sydney is very similar to San Francisco but not as expensive.

They are regularly 59 cents a pound at Costco but sometimes it's on sale at Safeway.

Woolworths or Cole was a good price when I lived there in Sydney, although Aldi was the cheapest.

We don't have Aldi in California. It's big in France.

And taste good.

RE: Zimbabwe.....

Yes I've not even thought of it that way.

But I think only the leaders felt that way, not the common people. wave

Mercedez, be tolerant to us who know nothing but politics. Just avoid them. It is part of the format and if you look at it, I believe there are more of these topics than anything else. Just saying.cool

RE: Open/Close Minded people.......

It is very empowering and if people read it and start seeing what a difference it can change them, the better world we live in and the better people we have become Bear. Or the better people we have become and make this world a better place. Great information Bear. Thank you again.hug

RE: Open/Close Minded people.......

Thanks for the info Bear,wave

RE: Open/Close Minded people.......

I avoid those close minded people if I can. There is no amount of reasoning with them.

You are one good reason for me to have abandoned this site. You were too negative on almost everything specially those that I posted and Snook has a fifth sense to have picked that up.

RE: Should there be a license to use the internet?

You are not only a liar but a braggart and arrogant.

I will not come back and read more of your diatribe and vitriol so save your breath.

He has the right to do anything he wants, including me and everyone else.

By the way, I consider Let us, one of the most erudite poster on here.

RE: Should there be a license to use the internet?

You got it all wrong. I am not defending anyone. I am agreeing with all of the posts they have said. You on the one hand don't agree and that is your choice. No one needs my defense including you.

RE: Should there be a license to use the internet?

Rachie, banning was a better option for me than heating the conversations and get the whole thread deleted. Now I teach my children good behaviour and I am proud of that legacy. I don't want to continue this conversation as it is against the rules.

If you want you can pm me and let us discuss this personal questioning. I say what I feel is right and that is the end of it.
