Absolutely Newlife...youre very wise...took me a while to wisen up....you think you know someone online after mailing for a while but...my judgement has been very poor on many occassion lol...so I gave it all up....never been happier!
Probably the worst date I had was in Dublin with an Irish guy...he was not from Dublin.....he appeared wearing an old woolly jumper with stains on it....we went into a restaurant for something to eat and he proceeded to throw pints down his neck as if it was going out of fashion and then he kept trying to snog me at every opportunity...yuck....but the worst of it was, I was fumbling about in my handbag looking for something and he grabbed my passport and pretended to spit on it...haha... I couldnt believe it...probably meant as a laugh but very disrespectful...date didnt last to long needless to say and I dont do internet dating anymore
The point I was trying to get across when posting that song was that you can still be a proud Scotman or Scotswoman and not vote for independence....I know I am fiercly proud of my Scottish blood but will never vote for independence....this is the 21st century and time to stay together and move forward as one....that is jmo...and each to their own!
I have looked to Ireland and Iceland in recent years and dont like what I see.....why would Scotland be any different when out on its own....we also have a small population and high unemployment....I have always been a Labour supporter through good and bad times and I have never liked the SNPs type of aggressive politics starting way back with Roseanna Cunningham...Alex Salmond is an egotistical proven liar and god help us all if he has the rule of Scotland....no thanks Im happy(ish) with the way things are.
Well its good you know what you want.....then it shouldnt happen to you....Ive no idea how old you are so Im away to look at your profile...you look quite young mind you!
I wont be voting for Scottish Independence...the day for that is long gone imo...in these hard times we find ourselves in atm, we should all be pulling together instead of ripping apart an already small island.....as for the free prescriptions in Scotland...I have never agreed with this...apart from for the chronically sick, the elderly and the unemployed...for gods sake we only had to pay about a fiver for a script...no big deal if youre working surely....as for the English kids having to pay their uni fees....who decided that they would have to pay?...it wasnt us Scots...engerlanders please look to your own MPs and dont be blaming us!
RE: Wise words from Parents to their Child?
I honestly cant remember my parents giving me silly advice...they let me make my own silly mistakes and learn fast from them.....
