Keep your head down Conrad the macheeeeeeeen is being turned on today!

RE: Making money..............

Just read today that a town in Jolly Old England (Lewes) is printing it´s own money.Pound has parity with sterling.Idea is to keep the dosh circulating in the local shops and boost trade.Check Sky News website.

Is this legal????

RE: ID Cards

Simple solution is to carry a mirror at all times. Then when they say "do you have proof of identity?"

you simply whip out the mirror, look in it,and say "Yep,that´s me all right" grin

RE: ID Cards

Depending on my mood I use either

1) My British passport
2) My French driving licence
3) My Spanish NIE certificate.

Bureaucrats.......................

grin

RE: Are we having fun yet?.............. Has your car a name?..............

My choice.........

And my first RV was called "Dream Weaver".

RE: Are we having fun yet?.............. Has your car a name?..............

My last camper car (RV) was called Shakti and had the name front, back and on both sides.

It means Beauty Grace and Power.

It was most suitable. grin

RE: So what would you say if someone you met had a scar?

I have a scar on my knee. More accurately I have what is left of my knee being held together by a scar.

To jolly things up a bit I have the words Aiei! (french) Ouch! (english) Au! (dutch) Aay! (spanish) tattooed around the knee in a circle, all the work being done in the country of the language involved.Paris,Gibraltar,Eindhoven and Barcelona in fact.

The last time I was in hospital for yet another leg breaking session (three times so far) I joked with the surgeon that I didn´t want to come round and find he had re-arranged the letters to form an obscene word whilst I was under the knife (saw, actually) laugh

Some tattooists (the really talented ones) do amazing "cover up" work on scars to render them practically invisible, ladies.

motorcycle <-------- reason for scarring in first place.

RE: I saw the following sign today.

On a lighter note......

On a restaurant door in Gibraltar.

"Please come in and eat, otherwise we´ll both starve" rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

The food was excellent too!

RE: I saw the following sign today.

Yeah I can laugh now,but at the time very mad but you couldn´t make it up could you laugh

RE: I saw the following sign today.

I am NOT making this up.

My first marriage ended in divorce because my ex was bedding a fellow student.

At the time I was in the Merchant Navy, spending long periods in the North Atlantic and Baltic Sea.

In the winter the N Atlantic is one of the most inhospitable places on the planet.

By contrast the Baltic is flat calm......... the ice is over a metre thick some winters.

Small wonder I was not amused at the goings on-

And the name of the brave soul who was keeping my bed warm for me....?

Mr. Cockaday. My solicitor laughed. I nearly hit him. But he was a solicitor.

RE: EU FORUM PARTY TONIGHT

He lives on in the hearts and minds of so many young musicians. No doubt I will here some tomorrow.

Two day fesival on the beach with full stage and PA.I´m invited to play. Three different types of jawharp.

Won´t be playing reggae......but I will be Jammin´ dancing

RE: EU FORUM PARTY TONIGHT

Late to the party....nevermind

My musical contribution to the party is a totally unknown artist (Like everyone else I listen to)

Unknown that is apart from the fact he has had over 15 million hits to this video on You Tube.

Professional players weep on seeing this.

It cost a fortune.
