Okay...(thanks for your thoughts, btw)...I think you're the most attractive nature woman on CS. I will think of you to counter any negative thoughts in the future when I attempt disastrously to fly fish...
Perhaps, Lena, your photo might qualify you as the most elegantly attired lady on CS? (Please don't crucify me, ladies, because I know there are others very elegantly dressed, too, but this my feeling at the moment.)
Yeah, Fishing, I was sighing from horniess (imagining the gay thing). Please dismiss and carry on (and think healthy thoughts that don't feature smoke)
I think you are the most ethereally celtic of any lady on CS. Sorry, but that's what I've always thought of you from the moment I first saw your profile. Your like some magical avatar of Irishness or something...
Not necessarily. Depends on the situation. If everyone who didn't respond in a timely matter to an email was rude, that would be one helluva lot of rude people - probably the majority of people would be rude - in my experience.
I feel much the same way, H&H - if some lady doesn't want to take the time to know to me just because I prance about in a skirt...TOGA...and high-heeled sandals...that just means she's too shallow to appreciate the macho monument of masculinity raging deep inside (granted, very deep inside, but it's still there, damn it!).
I agree completely with you, Wikked. "Got out of hand" has to be one the lamest excuses ever. If it happened later in their relationship, that's one thing, but on the second date? Unacceptable.
Funny, I was wondering just that the other day. If I woke up one morning and no longer knew my age, I think, judging from the face in the mirror (and the body) that I'd guess 43 - 46. Perhaps that's wishful thinking...
What a strange - and strangely inspired? - thread, D! I've often wondered how much people here (and in general) valued intelligence in themselves and others, and how confident they are in appraising it.
There is no single, objective definition of intelligence - confident claims of the IQ gurus to the contrary notwithstanding. I see intelligence as consisting fundamentally of *awareness* - both in the Socratean sense ("know thyself") and in the sense of being actively/intellectually engaged with the word around you. I'm genearlly more impressed with an all-around, eclectic type of intelligence than a specialized one. For me, a chief indicator of intelligence is one's sense of humor. The sharper and more clever it is, the brighter the individual, imo (all things being equal).
RE: You are the Most________ On CS
Raindog is, I'm guessing, the most likely to love Garbage's "I'm Only Happy When It Rains"??
