"Hiding" is probably too strong a word. I suspect there are many possible reasons for not showing photographs. It may express, for instance, a desire for privacy or a lack of interest in attracting romantic interest. I know of at least one example here of both of these, and I'm sure there are many more.
You would be mistaken in assuming that the lack of a photograph means the individual is unattractive. I know of at least one beautiful woman who is "faceless," and I'm sure there are many other attractive photo-challenged people.
Yeah, Ken, that's what I just did with my "You may be a girly guy..." thread. Last time I checked, *no one* had responded. It can be an interesting experience....
And to think I thought this thread was dead -- that no one wanted to comment on this common but often misunderstood problem. In the spirit of confession, I suspect one might be a girly man if one develops in inordinate affection for a certain bleach-blond wig....
VERY short answer: all pack animals require rules and a kind of ethics to function cooperatively. Add to that basic imperative a vastly higher IQ, and you get morals.
That age difference is nothing, Cristina! Heck, even if you were the same age, he could be salivating for younger ladies, if he is the kind of person who would do that.
Maybe I don't wear a skirt or anything at all waist-down, Imared. Did you ever, in your wildest fantasies, imagine that? But my flesh is pink, so...it's kind of similar, I guess
Okay, seriously, that's a fair question, Full Moon. I think it has to do with the blonde's inherent attractiveness. Your employers just can't get enough of you bending over, tossing your hair, and frowning cutely with frustration.
RE: Picture or no picture that is the question
