It’s not really . Taking the lead could also mean making difficult decisions, which may sound controlling, but does it for the best interest . Controlling in a psychological sense , is a different story .
It’s a fine line between taking control of a relationship & controlling it . If a man say for example, surprises his partner with a dinner date , is that controlling, or a gesture . Maybe women prefer chimps who hide behind the woman
The connection is that our governments incompetence has taken away our freedom. Freedom to work , freedom of movement etc. After 10 months & 3 lockdowns later , we are in a worse position now than during the first lockdown & we haven’t reached our peak .
It seems like the economy is more important than life . The same mistake our government made & are paying a high price for for their lax laws after they unlocked the country during the autumn months .
The problem is , the government either don’t know , or they are not telling us the route of transmission. We hear so much about the superspreaders. Holidaymakers were initially to blame but the holiday season ended months ago. Not everyone in popping in and out of each other’s house. I assume the vast majority of our populations are cautious, so I can only assume it’s coming from schools .
When I worked in London pre pandemic, there were many Asians who wore masks . I always thought it was because of the pollution, but now i realise it may be a form of protection from allergies, or maybe viruses such as common cold , or flu .
As I stated earlier , in Asia , pandemics are a usual occurrence . Whereas in the west , it’s a new thing . In the first lockdown , people were more rebellious, as far as wearing a mask was concerned, but it’s become a norm now & the majority see it that way . It may not be second nature to wear a mask just yet , but I’m sure we will become accustomed to wearing protection in time .
That’s the thing gripper , there’s no clarity because as soon as an MP steps out of line , the rules change , as with Boris yesterday & previously with Dominic Cummings. Use your discretion they say, which is all well & good until you get a £200 fine .
I really don’t understand how governments & government ministers keep a straight face when addressing the nation , when they know deep down, they are the first to break the rules .
Shhhhh . This place has gone quiet all of a sudden.
It’s not really .Taking the lead could also mean making difficult decisions, which may sound controlling, but does it for the best interest .
