The pheasants are hanging in my shed & the ducks plucked , ready for Christmas.. a nice plum , or Madeira sauce would compliment them, don't you think ?
A good pub will leave me with little change of £30 , plus a meal afterwards, petrol & parking expenses, then I have to listen to her moaning about her family & work colleagues , so not only is it not a money saving tip, but to add insult to injury, I'll get a headache, or worse , a migraine
Game . Shot a couple of ducks , 3 pheasants & a wood pigeon. Wasn't allowed to shoot rabbits because of the number of game keepers lurking in the woods .
I don't think I could retire altogether. It would be a shock to the system, plus, most of my pastimes are so expensive , so a little part time on an advisory level wouldn't be a bad idea, not only for financial reasons but it's good to stay in touch with people .
Suicide was the furthest thing from my mind !! I'm just wondering if I could cut down my expenditure. Here are some of my avoidable expenses.

I'm not saying anyone should sacrifice standards , but some have to be made if your goal is not to work until you're in your late sixties, assuming you survive that long !
